My sisters husband was shot and killed at Crossroads a few hours ago. I feel awful. I could not imagine being in her situation. She will be flying down as soon as we can sort her out.

Thank you. She kept saying she was going to but she hadnt started it. Its sad that we are here for this reason, but I had planned to come anyway as my anniversary is on Friday. Im glad to be with my hubby but feel guilty because now my sister is burying hers. (Well not sure if burial or cremation as yet, she isnt in agreememt with what his parents want). Just a big mess.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. my husband is a Canadian citizen. Our application was received on may 27,2015 at Mississauga. I paid everything upfront and send all documents upfront.I checked my ecas in early august and saw " in progress" and also that my application for permanent residence was received on may 27,2015. It also says that my medical results were also received. i am waiting to hear from them. i don't know if this means that my application is actually in Kingston, Jamaica. My husband and i have not received any letter from them yet

Have you received your notice that your application to sponsor was approved by mis? That's what I got first then it was transferred to Kingston. This took just less than two months for me. Maybe that's where it is?

Hi everyone. I haven't been on here in abit BC my phone fell in water and I had to buy a new one. Must say Big Congratulations to Impatient girl soooo happy for her and for everyone who is seeing some progress with applications at Kingston office . Shorty p my condolences. I Dont even want to think about how ur sis must feel. For the past few weeks I have been in and out the doctor I had to be taking pills to slow my heart rate and im y early 30's the doctor says its stress so I'm trying my best not to worry myself too much this process is driving me nuts I really hope to hear from the soon.

NO. I never checked my status till two months after i submit the application.when i did checked i saw under the heading permanent residence application "in progress" and that they received my permanence application application and my medical results.

Hey everyone,

I noticed that some of us either have "In process" and "In progress" In our ECAS, at first I thought they were the same meaning until I just seen that Shanab had the same quote " In progress" as Shortyp2000 and Sara8513 and myself have "In Process"

Apparently they are two different meanings, check it out ..

By reading this thread It seems that if your ECAS shows "In progress" They're determining all eligibility, and if yours shows "In Process" it means you've passed all eligibility, security, criminality and medical.

Also I spoke earlier to CdnandTrini and she too says, "Once you are in process that means the interview has been waived and all eligibility screening has been passed"

Hey Hon sorry to hear, please take good care of yourself and try not to stress out. This process varies for everyone. Hold the faith and don't be impatient, that causes stress. Have you tried checking your Ecas recently? You could have an update.

That would be amazing! I have been thinking that it was unlikely for him to land in time and hearing that he could makes me feel so comforted!!
