Morning everyone.

Got hubby off to the airport OK, but things got rough after he landed. His (don't mek mi cuss badwud) father didn't come to pick him up, claimed he was waiting at a friend's house 15 mins away from Pearson because the flight was "delayed" (damn lie, di flight less dan half hour late!) and then when he didn't hear from him, he went back home without him. Hubby had to get a bus from downtown up to northern ON, when I called him this morning 5:30, he was waiting for the bus to take him on the last leg.

Anyways...missing, congrats on the update!!!

thanks to all of those who put my mind at ease JW, Angella and nae and anyone else re. DM status on ECAS, i was thinking that maybe the decision could be a negative one since they had hubbys pp since july 22 :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X
i have an update hubby is at kg right now waiting to pick up his pp yeahhhhhhhhhhhh im so excited they called him while he was at work monday morning and he almost missed the call ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
Does anyone know how soon he will have to leave ja cuz his manager needs a month to replace his position :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

CONGRATS everyone on your updates this week!

Does anyone in here know how long it takes before you get the next correspondence from the VO after a successful interview? It hasn't been a month since my interview but I feel as if it's taking forever ... LOL

Good morning family, Boo you should order CAIPs notes for your interview. You have read the standard questions that they will ask but the Caips may tell if any red flags came up and why they want the interview.
Sheraig, plan to spend the day at west ed mall, it will take you that long to see it all. Dolphins and seals put on a show twice a day, roller coasters and rides for the kiddies. I am 5 hrs north of Edmonton but fly outta there to Mobay. Thursdays have a direct flight at 7 am which beats going through TO. Not that Ontario is bad, just another 6 hrs apart from our bed buddies. As far as cold goes, worked in Kapukasing, Northern Ontario, for a couple years, now the -55 there with the wind coming outta Hudsons Bay was a new experience. Am in mining and the cold made a 12' solid steel boom crystalize and break in half. I didn't thaw out until April, no, closer to May.
Gonna open a range war but the western part of Canada is a great place to be. You'll love visiting out East and coming home to our gorgeous sunsets

Hi Everyone!! I know I havent been on here for awhile, but I want to say congrats to all the soon to be mama's and everyone who has had an update!!

Well as you all know I submitted my application on September 7, 2010.

I've been on the website checking like mad to see if I could log into E-Cas.... well.... up until today it would always say it didnt know who I was.... WELLL Today... IT KNOWS ME!!!

It says a decision has been made ( for me to be a sponsor) and a letter has beeen mailed out on October 4th...

Im so nervous and excited!!!!!

Ill keep you posted.

Finally your wait is over. I think they are given till the meds expire to leave the country so he has plenty of time to sort out.
