Hey everyone, hope you all are good. Hey I like when you old timers always come back and post.. Being here so long seen many come and go. LCW post all ya want darling. The JA thread was always at the top. We like the attention of being #1 on the site..lol.
You have to stick around cause the day will arrive when I need answers for my questions and I KNOW you know..wise one.

Hubby is heading more and more frustrated with each passing day and 15 mths in. Yesterday at work I served a guy from JA just arrived 2 weeks back he was telling me it took 1 yr for him. Saying how IMM is slow and no answers half the time.

Well I am off for 4 days yahooooo. What to do?

jammy - thanks! I like it when it's busy in here especially when people are talking about other things....it's nice to hear good news but it's also nice to talk about other things than KG and how frustrating the process is....we have to stay sane somehow lol or do we? :-\


lcw - yay! you're back!! of course we miss you! like the boy's name ... not sure about a girl though. How about making one name out of both of your mother's names? hubby and I talked about that, if I get pregnant and we have a girl she would be Marisa (my mom is Marie and his mom is Lisa) but a boy for us would be horrible since my dad's name is Alfred and his dad is Lupert lol Alpert or Lufred? YUCK!!! No way I'm combining those two names lol


iambless - no AOR letter for us either....they will probably send it to the mailing address you put on your application. I know the US High Commission did a press release stating they were asking for re-do's on the police check if they were done before June 14. The Canadian High Commission has not done a press release that I'm aware of....but Angella mentioned awhile ago that Canada is following suit. I guess we just wait until they send a letter asking for it to be done. Until then, I think we will just wait and see.

Well I love the name Alyssa and if I was gonna have a girl I would name her that. But since I will be having a boy in November 2011 and his name is Camden I cant use it.

So my choice are Alyssa ;D (or LaQuisha...hehe )

Iambless: I think they will request the police check if you have to redo it.

Glo: I think you will be hearing something soon.


Man once the summer is over the updates will come rolling in.

There are really only 2 hours a day when it is open to the public? They really don't want to see us
Our representative is going to try to go in to get some answers - anyone have any advice? Just get there early? There is no way to make an appointment is there? I just cant get over the fact that they dont communicate...
It brings me encouragement to see that this has worked for people who have gone before.

I love talking names... there are some great suggestions here. I find it easier to find beautiful girls names - boys names are tougher for me - all the good ones are taken by friends and family. Anyone want to share their favorite boys names?

Mi jus get a calll likkle while from mi husband weh seh him modda call him and seh wi bredrin a dead from dengue fever . Him a only 27 year old and have like 7 pickney ....And she say like 75 some odd people have it all over manchester ....and st elizabeth ...wooiii ....him just go a doctor yesturday and dem give him likkle medicine and send him rass home ...and BOOOM dis mawning him wake crying fi him joint cause dem a pain up BAD BAD ....so dem put him inna deh cyar back and him dead pan deh way a hospital ...mi cyaaan beleive....

Sorry to hear that LCW.

Yeah I hear that there is an outbreak here. But Doctors have no cure for it, they can only give you medicine for the fever and the pain. There are different kinds of the same disease some worst than some. But mi sorry for the kids tho. Man that rough.


When hubby lived here in 2007 he caught dengue and didnt even go to the doctor just laid in bed pain up and sick for days. I fret like mad but so him stubborn and stay.

Yes you having running belly(diarrhea), bone pain, head ache, and a very bitter taste in your mouth. You also get this splotchy rash all over your body. It make you sick bad.
