Curious thing I just noticed in my notes. Our due date was changed since I ordered them back in May. It used to say that it was October 23 now it says Oct 28. Think it's because of the file transfer to POS, giving themselves an extra 5 days to do reviews?

Our date changed a few times and the last date on there was 30 Sep and they had already requested other things from us. So don't always go by those dates. They work on their own schedules

On page 2 of my notes under Application Assignment the due date is 2014/03/02 and hasn't changed since my first notes in May. Hope to the dear Lord that they haven't missed me or misfiled my file!! UGGHHH!! the stuff that this process does to us!

Also Lexi does it show on page 2 where your file is located? Mine says

PAPER FILE
Office: Port of Spain
Paper File #: ******(has my number)
Location: Registry

My officer is still the same as what was in KGN so obviously not been assigned to anyone yet.

Yes it shows POS but the officer is different than the one for Kingston.

Here you go

How to Order the notes

Here is what another member wrote out on how to get them and also a video that another forum member posted

http://youtu.be/j_E_dq_uLVo

Here is a previous post regarding GCMS notes:

GCMS notes (Global Case Management System) are notes that are made on your file. The Sponsor can order them online or by mail for $5 and the Applicant has to sign a consent form. They take 30 calendar days (sometimes longer) to be sent to the Sponsor once they are ordered.

A lot of people order the GCMS notes if they have been in the process (around a year) and haven't heard anything from Kingston. It is also a good idea to order them if you are scheduled for an interview.

Should you choose to order the notes, here is the link to the CIC website:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

Side note: it is entirely possible that the visa officer working on your application may not update the GCMS notes so do not be discouraged if you order them and there is limited information in them

GORGEOUS!!! Every single one!!! <3

Good morning everyone!

I am reading the last 15 pages or so of the forum and it may not seem like it to you guys, but Kingston/POS is actually really bustling from what I'm reading on here! You guys are showing us lots of movement (more for some than others)

For those of you still waiting (like, no PPR or anything), don't be discouraged! And don't feel guilty if you feel like giving up, as I'm sure we have all considered it, then realized how much we love our spouse and won't let that happen. Just when it seems the darkest, the dawn will come. When you feeling your relationship tearing at the seams from the distance, God himself will open the path He has set for you. WE ARE HERE FOR EACH OTHER, DON'T BE AFRAID TO VENT :-* :-* :-*

Hubby and I are doing SO great! He's been working for over a month now and his PR card came in the mail on Tuesday (41 days)!!! We are moving out from my parents' and are so excited to have our own space! Hubby has also started studying for his G1 (I'm terrified - not even kidding), and I know it will benefit us greatly. He actually REALLY likes the cold. He misses the constant sun of Jamaica at times, but he said he would take this over the heat ANY day... the real winter hasn't hit yet, so we will let him give his opinion during the upcoming ice storm of 2014.... :P

I can't wait for all these landing stories and PPR stories and everything. I consider myself so very lucky, and I am incredibly grateful that I am able to already have my Mr. Nini here with me as I think I would have been in the fetal position in a dark corner of my parents' crawl space if he wasn't. You are all strong, because as we have stated MANY times on here... this process is not for the faint of heart. Each and every one of you is a warrior and you should be proud :-*

NIni! It's always so good to hear from you...loving the updates and the words of encourgement...I'm at the point now where I'm slumped on the couch with a spaced out look on my face -- I think fetal in the crawl space is next hahaha!

The time will come for us all, and although it's hard to be positive about this process, forcing positive thinking is the only way to get through it! At least for me anyway! If anyone else has some remedies, please share!

Nini always so wonderful to hear from you and thank you for the words of encouragement. As you know this process is brutal and this immigration-hellmouth loves to try to pull us down. The first week back from being with hubby is always hardest so its been a tough week so far. Hahaha to the "fetal position in a dark corner" bc we all get there and/or have been there.

Happy that you and hubby are finding your groove together and congrats on getting your own space away from your family.
