Morning lovelies :-* Okay so after another lengthy conversation with hubby last night I found out that he in fact just forgot to hand in his passport! I was under the impression that they handed it back to him and he was meaning the security guard at the gate handed it back to him after checking it as identification......He said the VO didn't even look in his bug envelope at his documents and that's when it registered to me that she in fact didn't even know the passport wasn't mixed in with his stuff!!!! What happens in this case and does this give me a glimmer of hope??

She didn't take any of the additional docs they asked him to bring?? That is weird. If they asked for him to bring his PP they should have taken it unless she already had her mind made up. Have you received any word on anything yet? Is is coming by snail mail to your hubby?

Did the VO ask him at all about his passport? I would say that you should email them to get confirmation if you can submit it now.

Lexi....they already got decision made and they are waiting for whatever that decision is. Emailing Kingston isn't going to do anything at this point. They just have to wait and see

All very stupid in my opinion. If they ask for stuff then take it....especially if there is an interview and you ask for additional docs.

That's what I told him and he said let's wait and see what they say in their letter or email I think he's nervous to annoy them but I mean they asked for it and he forgot to give so I think it's food grounds to email!

Ahh okay...so maybe you should try and email them and see if they still need the passport. I thought that they didn't take anything at all.

Maybe they are thinking that since the passport wasn't there that he didn't want this??? Maybe?? Who know.....we will never know how Kingston thinks at all. They are all over the place

Good Morning JamFam! Hoping for some more good news today for some of us! POS and KGN ask for some PPR and send back the PPs that you are holding on to!!

LonelyMrs....way too confusing! Make sure he keeps checking his mail to see what the DM means and what KGN sends him. I don't think it will hurt to email KGN and address the email to the VO that interviewed him to let VO know that his passport wasn't in the envelope that they took. But I would think that they would specifically ASK for the PP and not rely that it is in the envelope. Did they even look at what he brought them? Wouldn't VO have seen that the pp was not in there and asked for it?

No she didn't look at it when he was getting ready to leave she said she was gonna review it all, they had a huge language barrier too she was very french and he couldn't understand her and she could barely understand him she kept asking him to spell things for her! Wish I could have been a fly on the wall.......

My mp recently confirmed they were waiting on the RCMP check (which was requested June 10th from Kingston). So we figured they were just taking there time doing the report. After my mp contacted the RCMP she was told the report will be done when its done. This was yesterday. Well today I received an email back from the RCMP stating Good morning;

The processing of your husband`s application was completed on September 08, 2014. The results were mailed to the address provided.

I also received my gcsm notes on Oct 18th generated date of September 22nd. With no updates at all and no mention of receiving the report and criminality still as "in progress".

AS for your notes....you will see that they were probably processed the day you requested them or a couple days later. I requested outs the same day and got them yesterday. They were generated on the 24th and has info from that day....however anything after that isn't on there

As for the RCMP info....they might have received it after the processing dates of your notes so they won't be on there. They could have also been there but the VO didn't update your notes.

At least you know now that they are there and they should be processing them. Just remember when they get new documents it could take anywhere form a few days to a couple months for them to process them. It sucks and they should process them right away but it's Kingston and they don't.

Our notes were generated sept 22nd. Which could make sense to why its not updated. But what I'm confused about is that Kingston emailed me back on October 8th saying they were still waiting for them... I would think they would have received them within a month of them being mailed out. The email saying theywere still waiting on Oct 8th is what concerns me when they were mailed out on sept 8th. No they did not confirm the address they said they were mailed to the address provided. I've just emailed Kingston to see if they will confirm I'd they've received it but Kingston usually doesn't answer so I'm not expecting a reply really

I got our notes back yesterday and they stated that they had emailed us with confirmation alerting us to the file transfer to POS. I have checked all our emails and don't have it. I have also checked that the email addresses are correct. This makes me nervous because I wouldn't know if another email requesting anything would be received.
