But stacy and yqm_fa has the same timeline...files transfered in January 2014 and they are in Port of Spain.

I dont know about Canadianwifey89 and CocoVanilla but from Sept. 2013 only my file still in Kingston.

meljam.... maybe its a good thing you stayed in Kingston. There seems to be more movement in Kingston right now than POS. I called cpc-m and ask and the agent said that usually when files are transferred from one visa office to the next, Its to speed up the processing of the files. Don't know about that as no one seems to have had any progress on their files since been sent to POS. I am starting to feel like I should go to an MP, if I don't hear anything in the next month or so.

Does anyone know if going to an MP can slow up progress on your file?

I went to my MP and she told me that they are very reluctant to get involved at all. Basically until the 20 months processing time has passed, they will not encourage contacting immigration.
Others have had better success dealing with their MP, so I suggest you go with your gut in this.

Yea maybe...will see in the next weeks whats going on because Kingston will soon finish with the backlogs since there are some files from August In Process....so what they gonna do after jumping to Jan 2014 or Feb 2014 files since others are in Trinidad?? This is just so complicated and stressing to follow!

Did u receive an email or hubby a phone call or something?? Usually people see Decision made when they return the passport stamped!

They called him on Oct10 and scheduled an interview for Oct15 but didn't keep his passport ,Officer said they received a "tip" and she drilled him abt his baby mama so we assume she had called because she has been trying to break us up from the start and when he was done the interview the officer said she would contact him by mail with her decision....if u read back a couple pages i put all details in my posts there...I'm just so distraught by all this

I'm just worried because it went to DM without PPR after the interview......

1.We received your application for permanent residence on July 25, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on October 15, 2014.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.Interview scheduled for October 15, 2014.

5.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision

Thanks girl I'm really trying ! I leave for Jamaica next week i'll be there for 3 weeks I'd love to bring him home with me! All i been doing is praying..... :-*

They have made a decision after your husbands interview. Watch your email and snail mail for any updates
