Hi Everyone!

I haven't popped by for a long time.. I've been in Jamaica
Anyways.. just thought I'd share an update on my ecas that I noticed.. Hubby's status has changed to "In Process", but only as of last week. I wonder how much longer this whole thing is going to take at this point. A lot of my friends and family are saying it's likely another year from this point but i refuse to believe that!! Can anyone share their experience with their status changing from received to in process??

Ours went to in process April 15th 2014 (so over 6 months ago now..) and we are still waiting to get ppr. hopefully your case isnt like ours and the RCMP doesn't take ages to send Kingston back their report (which is what were still waiting on since june 3rd.. but just wanted to let you know that its very likely yours will be done soon like sammy mentioned but keep in mind nothing is ever guaranteed and unfortunately it could still be months away . keep positive, stay strong and keep chanting for PPR PPR PPR

Just checked ECAS for the first time in forever and saw that Medicals Received, but there is no date assigned to it. How do we find out when they were received? I'm wondering if this is something I missed from a long time ago or if it is referring to his recent medicals he did on October 2nd.

It probably is the news ones if they never updated your ecas before with the old ones. Sometimes they update it and sometimes they don't.

A quick update for you guys! Today is the big day for 2 members of our JamFam! Cafelatte and Jah-Canadian will have their hubbies home today! Cafelatte is travelling with hubby since he received the DHL email while we were at Margaritaville! It was an exciting moment!

I am so happy for them! Congrats again mi gals! :-* :-* :-* :-*

Good morning Jam Fam! Hubby and I are at Sangster's airport in Mo Bay waiting for our flight to Montreal!!!! ;D 8) 8) ;D

We were meeting our Jam Fam friends Mr & Mrs THOR, Brown, and MelJam when they told me we could acces wifi at Margaritaville, after many attempts on DHL and ECAS during the week we try one last time in their presence and I thought I wasn't seeing right when I noticed that the air way bill was finaly showing departed Kingston Jamaica Thursday Oct 16th am. Jam Fam power my friends! Not only we had a good time, could share with one and other and live that special moment with them :-*

Our status on ECAS changed to decision made the next day Friday Oct 17th and we went to pick up the passport and brand new shiny visa the same day. Was so glad to have booked hubby's ticket!!

We need to board now, talk to you soon!!!

THANK YOU and YES Sistren, hubby is on the iron bird as we speak! i didnt get to go get him, couldnt afford it, but i am so lucky to have him travelling with his brother from another mother...as they had business to take care of and worked it all around hubbys timeline. sooo blessed and beyond excited to see him!!!! i just cant believe the day has finally come!

Congrats Cafelatte as well!!! glad things worked out time wise so u could fly together!
