THANK YOU and YES Sistren, hubby is on the iron bird as we speak! i didnt get to go get him, couldnt afford it, but i am so lucky to have him travelling with his brother from another mother...as they had business to take care of and worked it all around hubbys timeline. sooo blessed and beyond excited to see him!!!! i just cant believe the day has finally come!

Just poppin in Congrats to all who rec'd really really good and exciting news and very sorry to read the not so good news :'( and glad to see all our traveller are back safe and sound.....Jamaica has a holiday on Monday not sure if POS runs on the same kind of holiday too but lets hope we get some news, POS have been very quiet after all that ruckus, I don't know anyone who as heard anything, this process is beyond frustrating...but ive been so busy these last couple of wk that it takes my mind off of this frigery but its still depressing. Good morning Jam Fam! Hubby and I are at Sangster's airport in Mo Bay waiting for our flight to Montreal!!!! ;D 8) 8) ;D

We were meeting our Jam Fam friends Mr & Mrs THOR, Brown, and MelJam when they told me we could acces wifi at Margaritaville, after many attempts on DHL and ECAS during the week we try one last time in their presence and I thought I wasn't seeing right when I noticed that the air way bill was finaly showing departed Kingston Jamaica Thursday Oct 16th am. Jam Fam power my friends! Not only we had a good time, could share with one and other and live that special moment with them :-*

Our status on ECAS changed to decision made the next day Friday Oct 17th and we went to pick up the passport and brand new shiny visa the same day. Was so glad to have booked hubby's ticket!!

We need to board now, talk to you soon!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Cafelatte02 and Jah-Canadian!! I'm super happy for you both!! I know that your joy is buck right now!!! Jah-Canadian your hubby should be fine when he lands. They say when we fresh from yawd we have the sun in our blood. I remember my first time in Canada, I had on merino and shorts on the basket ball court and my family thought I was crazy because it was apparently cold, but I felt fine. So he should have the sun in his blood still. And Cafelatte02 great job on buying that ticket for your hubby to travel with you today by faith it paid off!

Just checked ECAS for the first time in forever and saw that Medicals Received, but there is no date assigned to it. How do we find out when they were received? I'm wondering if this is something I missed from a long time ago or if it is referring to his recent medicals he did on October 2nd.

Did they ask for a new meds or is this just them finally getting to your files and updating? May be a good thing I am thinking! Ours doesn't say meds received from day one but know that others did and some didn't.

Hello JAMFAM! I am just at airport waiting to head home. God willing this will be my LAST trip returning without him. It was fabulous seeing Mr and Mrs Meljam, cafelate and brown. So wonderful to cheer on a member when they got their pp was onway to DHL!!

Our original meds were done in May 2013 so we're expired. It never showed that they had been received, so being the proactive personnel am, had hubby so his meds again at the beginning of October. So it is my assumption that they are looking at our file now. Our bring forward date is October 23. So praying that we hear something soon.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've been pouring over my copies of our application looking to see if there is anything possible that we may have missed. Obsessing, I guess.

Most likely because they use the file transfer dates and yours isn't until January 2014.

But stacy and yqm_fa has the same timeline...files transfered in January 2014 and they are in Port of Spain.

I dont know about Canadianwifey89 and CocoVanilla but from Sept. 2013 only my file still in Kingston.
