I am having hubby do a new police clearance and get it sent in. I emailed Kingston but I don't really expect a reply. As far as seeing decision made already. No idea ?

Good Morning and Happy Monday JamFam!! Looking forward to KGN sending out lots of PPRs to follow up with all those IN PROCESS and DECISION MADE changes we had last week!!

@ ITEN that is totally insane that they would mix it up so badly, but then again this whole immigration process shouldn't surprise us at all eh?!?! UGHHHH...frustrating!

@ Sammy and MelJam - get the PURPLE highlighter ready I see much PPRs coming this week!! LOL!

Mrs. Davis, has the time passed already that they were expecting his PC to be submitted?

we went into process I find out now in Sept. So I don't think so but I can't see a date on the forms hubby sent me. Asked him to look closer. He doesn't have email Ah... So frustrating Hubby isn't keen on paperwork Decision made is what is so odd.

I hope that they reply back to you today....also call your MP to see if they can help you.

This is just so weird but I know everything is going to be alright

If you went in process in September, then I am hoping everything will be okay. Unfortunately, if they sent that request for PC and it wasn't submitted in time, then the application could be denied. I'm really hoping this is not the case for you!!!

Any other members have insight?

Did you got a notice to redo the PC already or did they not send one? They would need to ask for a new one if the other one is over a year old and they will ask for that before decision is made. They will give you a timeline to send it in. We got notice last week and they gave us 60 days and also emailed and snail mailed the letter. We went into process last week as well.

You really need to contact your MP and find out what is going on. If they requested a new PC and you didn't hand it in in time they can decline your application :(

Told hubby to check mail. His brother had picked up the mail Fri. There in the mail was the request for police clearance. I've just asked him to check the date on it.

can someone answer my question about the address for mailing new PC....High Commission PO BOX 1500 Kingston 10 Jamaica..... is this correct? as my hubby has not received the letter but we would prefer not to wait...

OK.....I am hoping that all will be okay

If you are sending by DHL or Tara they will have the address but here is the full address

3 West King's House Road
PO Box 1500
Kingston 10 Jamaica

Make sure you add his file number, UCI, full name and DOB to make sure it gets attached to the right application

. You know what's frustrating. All this could be avoided it Kingston would contact me through email as we both signed the forms and sent them in many months ago. Why wouldn't they email instead of Jamaican's slow snail mail

Our in process date was Sept 23. So I can't see the police clearance being late yet due to snail mail. But ??? Hubby needs to check the date for me
