It looks really strange indeed. Istheendnear made a joke about mixing your cases, looks like KG did a mistake, treat her inland app. as an outland and your outland application as an inland. As everyone told you get some answers and have your hubby's case straightened out. They need to fix this and give you PPR.
Let us know what is going on. Our thoughts are with you, sending you positive energy for this mess up to turn out just fine in the shortest delay.
Blessings
Everything will work out, just takes patience I suppose with this entire process. Seems as though they want you to get frustrated and "give up", but my suggestion to everyone is do your research- google google google, this forum, mp's, call immigration specialists, harass cic with phone calls(lets face it it it is never the same person and seems all info is a little different or one gives more then others etc- after someone suggested this to me I truly believe it)
We filed(or what we thought) inland, filled out all the paperwork and sent in. My husband was on a work visa (and had been for years past) and we got married while he was here and he stayed and we filed during appropriate time to keep his valid status- if you file within (cant remember exact) 60-90 days after the work permit expires it keeps you "valid" (had this confirmed by a cic worker and others, even recent~ it is a new legislation) and we did so. ~ states as long as an application is in process you have valid status
short time passed and we got sent additional documents to be filled out, in which we did and sent back- these seemed to be repeat forms with different IMform numbers and I again called to confirm this was not a mistake and they confirmed no, all paperwork is not sent to Kingston, these must have been added to original pkg just after we sent in? No idea, but we filled out and sent in~ also confirmed that all sponsorship pkgs go to the country of origin weather inland or outland for final processing as I did question because we filed inland
up until recent (minus email confirmations of apparently changing our address~ canada, and same address for both of us may I add~ which seems as though they did not even though they said they "noted" it on our file hahaha nope!!) we had not heard a thing. They requested original marriage cert, birth cert (which no I did not send in at first as the fear they dont get back as we have heard this) as well as an updated medical and police checks and a valid passport that also must show valid return stamp.
of course kingston does not give info over phone and still will not reply to emails so I did my research yet again calling immigration specialists, lawyers, cic, mp etc and have confirmed we are on the right track and "you seem to know what you are talking about". That being said they did say that if we try to fix the glitch it will set us back to beginning and there will be new issues arise etc sooooo we are headed to jamaica in two weeks (once police check and medical are done here) to get this process overwith
