Hey guys I have been long gone but I'm kinda bak. This site is really frustrating with reading persons waiting for so long making my time seems like I don't even started waiting compared to them. It's a real headache

So I got an email yesterday don't think it means nothing much but it one saying cic has recieve my application and my uci # app# and some things about knowing application status processing time and all that. But after almost a year since my file has been submitted I'm jus getting that email.i guess I have such a longer way to go

Can someone tell me how to and where to go to order my notes cause I know my meds has been expired from July as also my police cer.

Where are you in JA? We are thinking of meeting at Mville on Thursday October 16th from what Mel has mentioned. Maybe we can meet there earlier for apps and then some dancing and drinking?!??

Well I guess that answers my question Re: SA approval....27 months huh.

My real worry now is visiting..I want to go in December but I dont want them to turn me back and I have no way of knowing what is happening with my application.

should i be worried.

Look properly, probably you received it because your application has been forwarded to Port of Spain....everyones who got their files in PoS received that email....

And you should redo the PC right now, dont wait them to ask it....maybe they will extend your medicals. Thats what my husband did....we sent the new PC in already so when they gonna look at our file, they will probably extend meds and will proceed...

Mike please refresh our memories. When did you or your spouse apply (is it for you or her?)? Did you not get your UCI and application number shortly thereafter? What exactly does the letter say?

Police certificate done July 2013
Meds done July 2013
File sent off November 2013
Received by cic December 2013
File sent to Jamaica January 2014.

Thanks Sammy. So looks like most likely his letter was from CIC to inform him that file is now in POS since he is a Nov/Dec applicant. Geez is KGN going to be doing NO work when they get to those files. You know since they do "process in order of receipt". UGGGHHH!!

Mike didnt mention that his file was transferred to POS...he just said he got a letter with all his info on it.

Mike - can you confirm if your file went to POS or Kingston? Does it say on the letter?

So everyone got a letter from POS that their file was transferred, because we didn't.

Lexi - I don't think that everyone did. Some called and got confirmtion or they emailed the POS office and got conf that way
