Ok Thanks Nini ! So it will be from Kingston to Kingston so I guess it will be similar anyway! So Monday hes going to go get this PC again. Hubby so pissed of about it ! Hes was like : Thats just a bloodclat scam, totally pure bullsh*t ! He wanted to give up and wanted me to move to JA. I was feeling so sad lastnight and traumatized about this reaction. I think hes really depressive and its only 8 months waiting. I fear that he can give up every moment now. I dont event know what to tell him to make him calm down and give him strenght. He like : I am not as hopeful as you, its getting weary. So right now girls, please tell me if some of you went through that kind of situation with your husbands and what can I do !

Oh Mel honey, we are all going through that. No lie, around our 9-10 months mark hubby flipped his lid and said the same thing about me moving to JA and just cancel the who stupid process. I let him vent and eventually came to the agreement that if we heard no work by the 15 month mark that I would consider making a move, but that means less money and so on and for forth. They lose all hope. I mean even now, hubby and I have PPR and he's STILL impatient to be with me forever and as much as I love that, I keep telling him to be grateful for how far we are.

This process will either make or break you I think. You need to keep strong and just try to be patient I guess. I mean on here, we are all fighting a battle that nobody else knows anything about... :-* :-* :-*

I think everyone went thru it.. That's y I take my time and travel in the mean time, it's gotten to the point my husband wanted to forget about it and give up, but what can you do? That's the test Hun. It's to see how long ur relationship can last! So don't worry about the process try to keep his mind off it and when he gets upset just remind him is what you achieve after!

Well Mel, you are definitely not alone. this is an exhausting process and at some points will feel endless. I too am facing the same issues with my husband, as we all know jamaicans and patience don't go in the same sentence but i am sure most of us go thru this. Without our strength and support they probably would have already given up longtime. Remember that time is always moving forward and the days to you are less and less.
Nini and lovindahubby are right, that the test is now, and we just have to push forth in what we believe in and why we started this process in the first place. Just when you think you can't take anymore and are ready to give up, only then will something happen to make you trad on.
We are all here in the same shitty process we call our immigration system.
All of our times will come.

Hey Everyone! So yesterday was me and hubby's 1st anniversary and we spent it apart. BOO! Leading up to it I was like "It's not a big deal, we will have many more to share together" but let me tell you, It was a big deal. We made a promise never to be apart for an anniversary again.

I'm hoping to go see him in Sept, but I'm not sure. We are really feeling the financial burden of this process and being apart...I hear all you Sammy when you are saying "just want to sell everything and move until it's over". Dig deep Sammy, your time will be soon! 'They can't keep us waiting forever'.
