DWL yes give them someting to talk about! Lol I had a private one so I didn't make no one know. Only my fam and his.. People too fass and they badmind! So I just let people talk! First thing when you married" oh a foreign him a look fi guh"n blah blah blah... Smh... That's how people are!

Girrrrl - I would have definitely done private but my family (just close siblings, parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents) already brought me to about 50 people..needless to say - it wasn't happening! LOL! It was intimate though, in that it was really close family (no strangers or people we don't consider close fam/friends).

That is funny that you got approved as sponsor without your medical. They would not approve mine without the medical, they sent it back to me saying application incomplete. ??? ??? ???

Chickie i must say that you are the most patient women I have met, and you handle your challenges with such grace. While it is always good to hear of other members getting through I assume it must be a bit bitter-sweet as well, and yet you are the first one to come out with your pompoms in hand and liven everyone's spirits. I just want to say thank you and i appreciate all the positivity you bring to the group, it definitely would not be the same without you :-*

LOL - I wasn't even worried about the chattings but the chaos. I have a friend who lives in Ja and got married...catered for about 100folks and around 150 showed up. Where will they sit? They can't just ''tan up and look'' ...such chaos! LOL

Chickie i must say that you are the most patient women I have met, and you handle your challenges with such grace. LOL I am definitely not patient anymore. I am angry! but truly I can't get mad at the people for getting thru before me but I can get mad at the system and that is what I am. ANyone I come across from here on out......i promise you I will tell them never to do this! It is freaking madness! There are millions of illegal immigrants in this country and my husband went the legal way and went home as he was supposed to and he is literally punished for it? I don't understand this messed up system. Some days you think it would have been easier if he had just stayed here illegally but then what type of life would you be living, always looking over your shoulder.
See I am not patient as I may seem......lately I have completely lost it, on my friends & family and everyone....I am glad i am super busy at work or I think i would be in the nuthouse by now! I don't wish this wait on anyone, not even my worst enemies!

Never met a more honest person.. one who is not afraid to say I am human - frail and imperfect. Don't forget it is the human nature to punish those who are honest.. the government is no different. Individuals who learn how to manipulate the system are often rewarded and are usually the ones ready to compare themselves to you and tell you how successful they are.. keep the faith, the wait will be over soon- can't keep a good man down forever.

This is an example of the reason why I cannot sit back and complain everyday about what I am going thru! There is always someone worse off then yourself and this man is an example of being able to overcome and persevere even with the worst possible thing was thrown at him. We all have a time for everything in our lives and God doesn't help you until it is his time! Blessings

Well Kingston received hubby's passport yesterday, now the real stress kicks in, waiting to see if it is returned with the shinny VISA inside. This part feels worse than the rest did. This part of the process seems to take a long time as well. I know nothing is standard with Kingston, but what is the processing time with this stage???
