I saw that and my heart sunk..mine was able to fit in a 11 x 14 envelope...definitely not that thick so I was worried for a little LOL but I think I included enough. We shall see

Other than the required forms / police certificate / medical check / immigration pictures etc.
I have bundles of pictures but provided maybe 30-40? around 10 wedding photos (ceremony, reception, and portrait), 2-3honeymoon photos, 2-3 pics of my bridal shower and the rest were us on dates..hanging around in JA..going to church (cause everyone knows before you go to church you have to take a picture) etc. Otherwise, I included photocopies of well wishes card from my bridal shower and the wedding, the narrative of our development of our relationship, photocopies of my passport showing the trips/ copies of the itinerates, honeymoon confirmation email, copies of receipts (western union, digicel top-up), photocopies of our letters to each other during our relationship, proof of phone records. Ummm what else was in there? LOL! I'll have to check my copies when I go home..didn't end up being 4inches...maybe 2? LOL mostly because of the clips I used to hold sections together.

Yes twoheartsonelove... That's why when I see these post like chickie and nev I was wondering why theirs so long. And my mom help me with mines after his application was sent in.. With his application I keep saying mines going to be done in 6 months too... Lol I don't know but I have high hopes... I've seen a lot of application filed within 6 months. A next friend of mine application was done within 6 months in 2012... So if I'm wrong to have hopes that it will be within a year oh well, let me be...lol I'm just talking to myself..

Sooo... I was being nosy and looking through other forums... and YO!!!! I can see why applications take so long. I have read about a NUMBER of applications being 4 inches thick or more AND containing 450 pages and up... I mean FOR REALSIES?!

Is that was some people on here submitted as well?

mine was about 2 inches....about 30 pics of wedding and about 20 pics of other events etc.....

Yes girl... Lol let me be if I have high hopes. I have that feeling, so I dnt want no one to kkill it...lol I pray everyone could get through 6 months. I really wish, but as you can see kingston not allowing that.

Nevs & DG, there is no reason why theirs is/was taking so long........mine there was alot of issues with mine and probably because my hubby had been in Canada before......i didn't pay my RPRF fee with the initial app & then we had to pay for an ARC also......take into account I have been thru 2 summers and the strike and you add up to mine..........take heart and pray for what you believe in and they say it will come true......i pray no one takes as long as mine!

hope is the best thing you can have this process! There is absolutely nothing wrong with putting it out to the universe that your application will be done in 6 months because there is nothing to say that it can't happen With such amazing processing times i would've paid your mom to be my immigration lawyer

Does anyone know what the bring forward date when your asked for a new police clearance? Is it 30,60 or 90 days? Thanks in advance

based on what the spreadsheet from others experience it looks like 30 days but that don't mean that they will go back to it on that day......never once have I ever heard from them on any of my BF dates.....it is usually a week to a month after the BF date. The BF date is just a date they put on your file of when they should go back to it.....i am not sure if it sends the officer an email or notification that they need to go back to the file but if others BF dates are before yours they will get to them in order of dates...or if they are currently working on a file....( i would think anyways LOL)

Claim what is yours it's funny I set myself up for 13 months. I remember when I said my goodbyes to hubby at Pearson Airport. First thing I did was took my everyday calendar and wrote 1 month, 2 months and so forth I stopped at 13 months. Sure enough in Nov we got PPR and I claimed Nov was the month. It was like a feeling came over me.

Thanks Chickie I know COG's bring forward date is 2 months redo of medicals so was thinking I may hear news before that. I'm almost at 2 months hope it's not 3.
