Oh that is sweet. It's my first and his second. Keep working at it. by the way you must speak fluent Spanish right?

Yes I do speak fluent Spanish. I taught him how to say different phrases and he is so good at pronunciation. Me on the other hand I still can't understand a single word of Patua. Thank God he speaks perfect English :D

Oh nice, yeah I saw your written English is pretty good, so I had to ask haha. Oh it's Patois (patwa) I think that's what you meant right? If he speak it all the time to you, you would understand in no time. My husband does not understand it at all either so I don't bother to even anything other than English, my husband speaks Ukrainian I speak couple phrases he teach me in Ukrainian . But my French is better than all. If I got lost in France I could help myself.

I'm 23 too

Wow 23 must be our lucky number because I'm 23 too :)

My husband is 3 years older than me and I was 21 when we started dating and 22 when we got married. So as you can tell we haven't been together for as long as some of the other members but we both just had that moment of "this is the one" and had to get married :)

Love should conquer all right? Good luck with your relationship you've gotta far keep on pushing and you will get there.

This is me and my husband quote.. Love conquer all!!

I have a question, if u didn't pay the fee for permanent residence when u first apply, and then send it after, does CIC update you that they receive the payment or no? I didn't send in mine the same time, plus they didn't request it.. I just went and pay it just to get it out the way..!

At least your hubby TRIES to speak back to you lol I joked and asked hubby to say ASK instead of Axe (which I secretly find adorable) and he said "nah, I can't manage that" HAHAHA

Yes, when you pay the RPRF it will should be updated in your file. If you pay for it and then at some point down the road you order your GCMS notes you will see if they have entered the information or not. Keep a copy of the official receipt as proof incase they ask you to pay the RPRF and you already have. We paid the RPRF when we first applied and they asked us about a year later to pay for it. ::)

Thank you chickie and Nev for always showing that motherly role I appreciate it. I'm 24 this is a huge learning experience that I learnt and went through with this process. Love is not something that finds you everyday. I don't regret marrying my husband my mom just says all she wants is her baby girl to be happy and treated well. Praying that next Tuesday we get back his passport with a shiny visa. Wed is my birthday so for him to be home to fly home on my birthday would just be a dream made in heaven.

You're welcome, O&O. :-*

I don't mind playing the motherly role -- I enjoy helping people and getting things done! I like to take care of the cubs on the forum. :D
