I spend five to six weeks a year in JA -- sometimes I go for a week, ten days, two weeks... all of my holiday time is spent there with my hubby! We try to mix it up and stay at different resorts -- sometimes for the whole trip, sometimes half the trip.

Heading down January 18 - Feb 1 to celebrate our anniversary! :D

I used to think the all-inclusive resorts made money off of us because hubby doesn't drink. Boy was I wrong! Hubby makes sure we get our money's worth and eats them out of bacon and lobster!!!! :-X

Glad you are feeling better. Try eating smaller portions and more frequently, I heard this helps. Even if you do not feel hungry try eating something even Melbo toast. Not eating is worse than eating something that the little one does not like.

Have you planned or looked into any cool pregnancy activities...belly cast or painting, photo shoot, or gender revealing party?
Ohhh you ladies have been busy chatting today! I love it!

Thanks for the advice daddy's girl and o&o. I appreciate the encouragement. It is definitely very new territory for me but i am surrounded by moms at work and I have been reading the books. Trying anything to see what will work small portions more frequently is definitely the key. But sometimes that still doesn't work!

5 times last year, and next week will make 4 times this year.

Last year was the regular 4 days-10 days trips (depending) and this year twice I have spent 3 weeks there and the other two times were/are 4 days.

I try not to make it longer than a 3 months gap, otherwise it creates tension (we all know) lol

My next trip will be in February for our anniversary.

I like hearing the answers to these questions, it's fun. So I will answer too!

I think it sounds like fun to go down to Jamaica to fly back to canada with hubby, have one last Jamaican vacation(for a while anyways) and then come home together. Except the thing is I HATE flying. I get so so so mooing sick I have to knock myself out with pills. Plus I have pretty bad anxiety to go with it. So how much fun would that really be for hubby and my step son?!? Hahaha. Right now because I'm pregnant I can't take any medication to go on the plane, that why I am missing Christmas in Jamaica for the first time in 4 or 5 years. So if hubby gets through before baby is born(fingers crossed) he and his son will be on there own!! Haha

I usually go to Jamaica three times a year for two weeks each time since my hubby and I met. I have been going to Jamaica since 2007 when I went to volunteer for four months at an animal shelter, and before I had a real job and a family I used to go for months at a time and I don't even know how I lived. When I met hubby we got to spend 6 months together which was really nice but reality kicked in and I had to come back. This year I have only gone twice.

I had a friend with that exact same theory. That she would not leave it more than three months lol.

My husband went home in nov 2012 I didn't see him until April 2013 then again in July-Nov 2013 wasn't bad at all. Hopefully I will see him this month so it will only be a month and few weeks that we were apart.

Anytime!!! My girlfriend use to talk to her belly and say, "You are going to be a good little girl today and not make mommy sick", it worked some of the time, lol!

I totally agree, the longest we have been apart is 4 months and I wont be doing that again.

The "tension" is more than we can bare. This process is definitely not for the faint at heart. That quote Nev put up the other day hit the nail on the head.
