For us it depends on when this happens. I would love him to come home with me when I go down.

Next best thing is to go get him and help him sort out his affairs and say good-bye to everyone.

I don't know about y'all but, when hubby comes it will be at least 18 months before we go back again. I have some travelling to do with my hubby and Jamaica is not on the list...lol!

LOL if i go to Jamaica again it will be a resort....I have never been to one and I wanna be able to just sit around and eat and drink my face off! That is what a vacation is supposed to be!

We have done the resort thing several times. It was great ! This is has been the longest time between visits , so the next trip will be a cheap one , if there's such a thing

Lol! I have done the resort thing in Jamaica, DR, and Cuba. It is time for the more exotic and adventurous places...Fiji, Belize, Panama, Costa Rica, Tahiti, Bora Bora..etc. My list can go on forever.

I am in the process of planning a couples trip for November 2015, if anyone is interested. I mean a real top of line vacay for couples which includes, villa, butler, couples' massages, and excursions (yachting, zip-lining...etc.).

Before that I have a New York get away planned with someone that includes a Broadway Show, some shopping, and fine dining (You know who you are..wink wink).

I hear you on that Mrs. Davis...these trips get costly...Lord only knows where the money comes from at times.

Yes I've been there twice a yr since 2010. Now with immigration fees and other stuff at home , $$ is running short

Hey... so after the visa is issued... what is everyone's opinion on hubby coming? Meaning, would you rather go and get him, or have him fly on his own and you get him from the airport?

(I love asking this question!)

The plan is that I will be flying down to JM and coming back with him. We hope to have a celebration with his family before he leaves and since flights from Vancouver are expensive, we won't be returning for awhile. The idea right now is that we will vacation for a couple weeks but I already know that I will be anxious to take him home.
Also, he hasn't flown before and we will probably have to make a connection through another airport so I think it is best if I am there to help and support him! Don't want him lost and wandering around the Toronto airport! I get confused there so I can't imagine what he would be like!!
He also loves the idea that we walk into Canada together for the first time!

I went down twice to Jamaica first time in April of this year for a week and in July of this year for 4 months.

I love staying at the resorts -- especially in Negril on the 7 mile beach!

And there's no such thing as cheap in JA! Unless there's a secret club that I'm not aware of!!!!
