Hey, I've been judged here ever since I joined this forum. Just because I am going through 2nd immigration filing all of a sudden I am a bad person? and my wife has her hands full? You don't know me, I don't know you. As for your "I AM a lawyer" response, for all I know, you could be anyone hiding behind that PC.

Hi Jamnic! WELCOME!!! I'm new too so I don't really have many answers for you about the process, but what I can tell you is in the last number of threads there has been a bit more of a 'feeling down' pattern, BUT just in the last few weeks there has been some movement in KGN for the GOOD! a handful of people in the last two weeks have gotten some great news - and THAT is really encouraging because KGN hasn't been doing much before that! You will see ups and downs on here as you follow, BUT when those 'ups' get posted, it REALLY boosts the mood of everyone on here and gives us all hope that soon we will hear more good news! And when there are people sharing their struggles, we can all relate and we do our best to encourage each other. You really start to cheer on all of your fellow "Jam Fam" and it can be really positive to help get you through the long waits of hearing nothing Prepare yourself for a long wait and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised One love

That is great news that KG requested your hubby's passport. What month did you apply in 2012?

Unfortunately in this process some innocent, genuine couples are going to be denied because of the bad apples out there! Waitingonforever is the only person (sadly) that I have ever heard where they asked for her hubby's passport at the interview and then they denied them. 'Normally' a passport will not be requested if they are going to deny you. Kingston always keeps us on our toes!

Hang in there and please let us know how your story goes! Hopefully Kingston will be sending your hubby's passport back to him shortly with a shiny visa inside of it!

Hi! I submitted the forms in April 2012 to CIC and in August 2012 it was sent to the Kingston office. Do u know how much longer we have to wait after they got the passport. I was hoping he would be here for my Birthday this year.

Hopefully you will get it back in a couple of weeks. The truth is we just don't know anymore; Kingston has held some passports for months. Recently, one of the forum members, Melissa123's hubby got his passport back in two weeks so it is possible!

I have never heard of that happening in Kingston.

They more than likely would not ask for your hubby's passport at this point in the process if they were going to interview him.

Is there a chance that he could be denied? Or once they ask for he passport the visa is issued? I am sorry for all the questions is just that I am getting very anxious and nervous not knowing what is going on. I truly appreciate any information you nay have.

The unknown will make you anxious and nervous! We have all felt that way at least once or a million times during this process...

About a month ago I would have said that your hubby is coming home but Kingston threw us all for a loop when one of our forum members, waitingonforever's hubby was denied after they took his passport at his interview and they have been married for eleven years.

Obviously I can't guarantee anything but I'm sure your hubby will be getting his passport back in the near future with his visa in it. And with any luck he will be home with you in Canada for Christmas and your birthday!

I know it's easier said than done but please try not to worry.
