how long until the quarterly changes on the cic.gc.ca site? because June 30th would be the end of the second right

Yes, June 30th is the end of the 2nd quarter. Last quarter wasn't updated for a long time; however, I've seen it updated in as little as two weeks. It gives us something else to check on the CIC website and obsess over. I don't get that excited for it anymore because the processing times either remain the same or go up! I have finally succumbed to the idea that my application is going to be processed at KG's speed...which is VERY slow in my case!!!!

And the moment is here for me Daddys home forever so my hubby landed earlier today ofcourse i was bz trying to everything organized for the arrival i work 6pm to 2am so yesterday i didnt complete all the necessaries neway i came home 213am n i stated n cleaned until about 615am then i went to bed woke up to phone calls from the hubby as hes getting ready to catch the flight our daughter all excited kept asking wat time daddys coming left kitchener at about 5pm as his flight wid arrive by 630pm got at the airport around 650pm wen arrive its showed that the flight arrive 647pm around i stood there with goosebumps anticipating the arrival then i began to wonder all rhings caz its my hubbys very first time leaving n taking a plane but it was all real at 720pm when i saw my handsome man stepped through the door with all smiles n landed a big kiss on my lips daddys home the rest to be continued but am happy the landing was smooth n he was also given his social number upon arrival thanks everyone

Excellent! That was a great landing story. Can't wait until I can tell my own.

Was it something extra you had to fill out for them to give you the sin# or was it automatic?

Could you say if you received a letter from Kingston confirming receipt of your application or is this the status on Ecas?

I emailed them to see if my file had yet reached Kingston and they responded and indicated I could add to my file.

My wife got the assistance of the MP last Tuesday of inquiring the status of my application. The MP's office contacted my wife the following day saying that they have spoken to Kingston and Kingston said that our application is still PENDING INITIAL REVIEW.

Kingston have received my application July 11 2012 and it seem they haven't even touched my file

Why are they doing this? ? ? Dont they know they are playing with people's lives? ? ?

Wow; this sounds disheartening and they had the audacity to tell the MP this; I hope it makes them feel bad and start working on the file. I really believe they do not have a process and do whatever they feel like.

I understand your frustration COG; but don't let it keep you down. God is still in your corner!

Hi everyone, it has been a while. I work as a nurse at nights, so I sleep in the day time, so I hardly have time come on here and and say hi. Everything is going fine with me and hubby, and he is fitting in well. I have been reading a few post, really can't catch up. My mind has been on you chickie, nev and maddants a lot, I sometimes feel bad how I've gone through this process so quickly, when pple like u guys have been here so long, but you are truly in my thoughts and prayers. Chickie I may not know u, but I love u for keeping it real. You are one white soul sista(lol). Welcome all the newbies, hang in there longtimers, and Gods blessing to all of u. Congrats to all who got through.

LOL now that soul sister song is going to be in my head all day! Thanks for coming back in and giving us an update, I am glad to hear that hubby is fitting in well and all i well for you too. Don't feel bad for us at all......God has his own timing for things and it just isn't our time yet and there is nothing anyone can do about, it is just the way of life. One day I will coming back here and tell giving everyone an update just like you and I will be able to look back on this process and laugh! Blessing to you and Mr tyldim!

Sorry for being late but welcome to our little forum.....click on the link below my purple thing and it will bring you to a spreadsheet with all the time lines of everyone in the forum new and old, Kingston never does things the same but you can use the time lines to kind of base your own etc...Good luck and blessings.

Yes, yes, a million times, yes!!!! Don't give KG any reason to delay your application. Have your hubby do it next week and it will be ready for KG if/when they should ask for it!
