Good morning ladies and gents......congrats to Tintin what an awesome landing story! It was much too long coming but it is here the same way and you give us all faith that no matter how long, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and hubby is back with you!

@ SweetieQ glad you had a great time in JA....you were missed though!

I have taken a step back from the forum......this process is beginning to drain me...I am here the same way just lurking in the backgrounds sometimes. I never once believed this process would take so long and I just want my hubby and kids home with me and frustration is setting in bad, bad.....

Come on Kingston, Kadi and I got our green crayons ready to mark off someones good news this week!

Sorry to hear that Chickie but I can understand; you must be weary after waiting so long. Don't let them win, keep your spirits up so positive energy can be transferred; your day is coming hun.

Yup; green crayon ready and waiting. :D

If your husband turned himself to immigration and followed his orders to an officer weekly before his flight which you have to pay for he should be fine. As well he can't have any criminal record in jamaica or Canada. He then would need to follow up in canada at the airport with immigration to sign a waiver form indicating he is leaving the country and can't return to canada for 1 year if coming back on the farm workers program. Immigration and the lawyer stated an arc would be asked for before rprf. Sponsorship applications are looked at and decided individually if an arc is needed depending on the case.

you know what girl! I don't like drama, I don't care for drama, hence the reason I backed out of the forum for that last few days...but seeing as you brought it up on the forum then I will answer you on the forum (even though you should have said what you had to say in a PM)

Read the OP Manuals- you may not want to believe what I say and that is your choice. I am only telling you what the OP manuals say and what an other member in the EXACT SAME situation as yourself has gone thru. It don't matter if your hubby paid his own way-mine did also and so did the other member. It don't matter if he doesn't have a criminal record-mine doesn't either and neither did the other members hubby. YEs all our hubbies had to verifty their departure with immigration at the airport the same way. And an ARC will never be asked for before the RPRF. THe ARC is the last process before they can send your hubby home if it is required of your husband........if it is not required of your husband then yes the RPRF would still not be the last thing that they require. The RPRF fee is asked for between your eligibility and your criminal/security checks. So if they are asking for your RPRF fee then you still have two stages to go thru. Believe me when I say I have been on here for 16 months and read up all there is about this whole process and one thing i can tell you for sure is that the people on these forums know a heck of alot more then most of the lawyers out there and the people on these forums are free! So it would be a good idea to sometimes take their advice.....why frigging ask if you don't wanna know or won't believe what you are told.

As for the husband thing, my hubby hasn't talked to your hubby in over two weeks until yesterday when your hubby called mine. Your hubby was the one that proceeded to tell mine that he knew already that he was going to get asked for the ARC so my hubby didn't have to say anything to him about it. If you hubby knows but you don't then there is something wrong there honey.........my husband would not discourage anyone, he is been suffering down in Jamaica a long time now. and he has been suffering on $100 every two weeks not $8500 in 7 months like yours so why would he discourage yours when he knows exactly what it is like to live on dumpling and chicken back for 17 months now?

Get your facts straight sweetie before you come at with me both barrels!

Sorry to the forum members for having to read this crap.

Look at last year .... March applicants didn't get through byt year end but June applicants did. I just hope they work this summer. Last summer nothing happened. Chickie can back me up on that one. When fall came....lots of people got through

Well clearly you love the drama and disappointed there is not much movement on your ends you have to consider you sponsoring his kids expect delays. Every situation is handled different you can't tell me if my husband needs an arc only kingston can. I have gotten messages from individuals who have gone through arc and some who were never asked for an ARC so it's a 50/50 chance.

Furthermore, your husband is a liar he is the one who called my husband from a different number not my husband calling him. My husband didn't like his vibes from day 1 and never called him your husband was ringing my man talking about some car accident then started saying my husband needs an arc and that his interview was waived. You must of told your husband that our interview was waived. As far as money is concerned I take care of my husband making sure he eats good food not no chicken back, clothed and a good home to stay at. It's not my problem 100 is not no money to live in jamaica. Do me a favour and tell your man not to call him I don't need badmind people in my life. Be bless
