Good morning ladies and gents......congrats to Tintin what an awesome landing story! It was much too long coming but it is here the same way and you give us all faith that no matter how long, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and hubby is back with you!

@SweetieQ glad you had a great time in JA....you were missed though!

I have taken a step back from the forum......this process is beginning to drain me...I am here the same way just lurking in the backgrounds sometimes. I never once believed this process would take so long and I just want my hubby and kids home with me and frustration is setting in bad, bad.....

Come on Kingston, Kadi and I got our green crayons ready to mark off someones good news this week!

Well I must say good night. I am off work for the next 2 days after working the whole w/e. I am really tired.

Let hope to hearing some great news from KGN tomorrow.

Be Blessed.
By the way O&O where did you send your package? Did you email or mail the package?
Can you send me the address? I would like to mail the package.
When I went to jamaica in April I dropped off the package.

Hey there, I paid mine later and I emailed the receipt to the VO office and faxed a copy, emailed the receipt to Mississauga and faxed a copy to them also. I called after two weeks to CIC Mississauga just to be sure it was on my file and it was registered. My last set of notes even had that it was paid and received.
Thanks hun. Now what if she doesn't have access to a printer. What then?

Hey there click the link below to find the correct fees.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

$75 for the application itself
$475 for the principal applicant
$490 for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee

Did you pay the $490 twice? This is something that your lawyer should have known so I would contact him right away to get your money back.

when she applies they will send her a PDF copy of the receipt, tell her to save it to her computer and email that way but if she doesn't have a printer then she won't be able to fax it, she would just have to email both places.

I took it upon myself to pay the 490 I didn't want any delays. Guess kingston and I were reading each others minds about paying. I called my husband to understand what he paid. He said he paid 550 at the bank for the application fee and then 2000 and then he paid 1200. I owe the lawyer from my pocket 250 a total cost of 4000. She said the 490 is extra she doesn't cover it but I feel she should.

Wow if your lawyer is charging you 3450 then yes you would think that would be covered. Hubby and I were going to get a lawyer to do ours and he was going to charge 3750 and all fees were included with his but we just ended up doing it our self. So in actuality you paid the $4490 which is just outrageous sorry to say! :(

No ARC needed not everyone that was in Canada before needs a arc. His name is in the clear no RCMP fingerprints needed.
6.4.
Who requires an ARC
?
(Under the authorization of the Minister of Citizenship and
Immigration)
Under A52(1), a foreign national must obtain a
written A
RC after the enforcement of any of the
following removal orders:

a deportation order (lifeti
me ban from returning to Canada) [
R226
];

a departure order that becomes a deportation order (lifetime ban from returning to Canada)
[
R224(2)
];

an exclusion order:

one-year ban [
R225(1)]
;

two
-
year ban [
R225(3)]
.
Before an application for an ARC can be cons
idered, the removal order must first be enforced. A
removal order can be enforced by two methods: either at a POE, or at a visa office outside
Canada pursuant to
R240(1)
or
R240(2)
. A removal order is enforced under these provisions only
after an officer h
as issued a Certificate of Departure (
IMM
0056B)
. For further information on
enforcing a removal order at a visa office outside Canada, see
ENF 11, section 13.5
.

If your husband is on a one year ban, which you have previously said he was in earlier messages then yes he will need an ARC. Another forum member is going through the same thing at this time, her ban was up in May and they asked her to pay the ARC in March. The only way he won't have to pay for an ARC is if they approve your application after November when your one year ban is up. If they approve it before November then they will ask for the ARC.

Yes I talk about them not knowing anything this forum taught me so much. My husband called in feb asking if we should start sending proof he said no wait till your interview. I then told him forget about them and lets go ahead I know u wont need an interview he only wants to discourage us. I think if it wasn't for my emails and mail we would still be waiting. After all I could have saved us money and did it alone.

He's removal was waived right away after he left the country it was completed at the airport. The lawyer said he won't need one.
