So I wrote the Kingston Office this afternoon at like 330 pm...see my email below:
Request: Good afternoon Dear Sir or Madam, I appreciate that there are a great deal of cases that are being processed at this time however, my husband and I would greatly appreciate it if you could advise us if you have received our application and if it has begun processing. I was approved as his sponsor on March 28 2013 and our file according to CIC was forwarded to your offices. We have yet to receive confirmation that you have received it. Please kindly note that I will be visiting my husband this coming July 11 to 16 for his 30th birthday. Should you need to reach us during that time please kindly call him directly on his cell number provided above. Thanks so much for your time and consideration.

It made my whole week!! I know it sounds like a generic email but the fact that I got a reply 2 hours later means that there is someone sitting in that office that took the time to check to see that my application was there
The "in process" part I'm sure can be taken a million different ways but I'll take it! Going to visit hubby in 22 days can't wait!!!!
