SHe was 5,000 US and took care of everything. my husband and I were so stressed that it was just easier with her and I went to see her when I first when down toget married and make sure all was in order and when I arrived on the day everything was done. $5,000 for 40 people no alcohol but for a extra 150 we just got our own. Cake, decorations, place for the day, our wedding was from 3 to 10pm, she was awesome. I know runaway bay is only a hour away.

Oh and she said we could most likely invited more people because there was so much food left over.

Hi Everyone!
Well I made it home after 10 fabulous days in Jamaica!
The goodbye's were tough but they are always difficult. I sure have a love/hate relationship the airport...I love arriving and hate leaving!!
It's amazing how quickly the loneliness sets in as soon as I walk through security but praying that the time passes quickly and my husband will be flying home with me soon!!
Hope you are all well!!

update on my fiancées application for visitor visa- no surprise he was declined due to insufficient funds. So I am preparing my visit and marriage the week of August 12th and soon I will be added to the spreadsheet..and begin this journey. I would appreciate tips on my shoestring budget (St Anne Parish area), all I want is to say my vows and begin our life as husband and wife. It will be one year for us July 15th.

* FYI he applied Jan 22 and just received decision 2 weeks ago 0 week of June 3!!!!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding sorry I'm not much help either at weddings in ja.

Hello Everyone!

So I wrote the Kingston Office this afternoon at like 330 pm...see my email below:

Request: Good afternoon Dear Sir or Madam, I appreciate that there are a great deal of cases that are being processed at this time however, my husband and I would greatly appreciate it if you could advise us if you have received our application and if it has begun processing. I was approved as his sponsor on March 28 2013 and our file according to CIC was forwarded to your offices. We have yet to receive confirmation that you have received it. Please kindly note that I will be visiting my husband this coming July 11 to 16 for his 30th birthday. Should you need to reach us during that time please kindly call him directly on his cell number provided above. Thanks so much for your time and consideration.

When I left the gym at 530 pm this was waiting for me in my inbox :D....

Dear Madam / Sir,

It made my whole week!! I know it sounds like a generic email but the fact that I got a reply 2 hours later means that there is someone sitting in that office that took the time to check to see that my application was there :) The "in process" part I'm sure can be taken a million different ways but I'll take it! Going to visit hubby in 22 days can't wait!!!!

I should probably also tell you that our ecas status hasn't changed and still says application received, but given the number of times I've seen people mention that theirs didn't change at all the entire time I haven't been thinking about it.
