This is such a difficult process and if Kingston updated e-cas and our GCMS notes I wouldn't have to email them asking them questions. Many of us that applied at the beginning of 2012 had to wait 90 days for first stage approval. I left Kingston well enough alone until the one year mark and then my hubby's medical/police certificates expired so I wanted to know what we should do. It was also really hard to see some people landing within a few months of applying. I was happy for their speedy process; however, I had no idea what was going on with our application because e-cas and our GCMS notes weren't updated. So if my spouse would have landed in Canada within a year I wouldn't be contacting Kingston at all. :D
Hey sis i so much agree with you on this....if they updated the ecas then we would not need to be pesting them at all......the are not using the ecas at all to let us know which stage our application reach or if we need to submit anything to them...im not going to stop pest them at all...i been waiting patently and they just giving me the run around....so i dont care how many email i have to send them.....if they answer my question then i would be ok....

Maybe they are holding off because they wanna put the latest on the note. Be patient as you have been for so long, it will not be much longer. Your time is coming right up. Personally I believe in just letting them do their job without nagging and bothering them. Alot of people who I am familar with that go through with in months did not do half the things we are doing, such as checking online and emailing them. :D I think they too can get fed up lmao. Sorry for your wait but this is ypur year for sure let that be your comfort :D
that would be good if that the case.....im still holding the faith in God...God will not make me give up at all...the lord will see me thru this application process......

it might be possible that they are waiting on an external source for some information concerning your case.

I know! I am 100% a believer! ;D

I am planning to stay of fb for the next few months if I can pull it off. Sometime when I am on and I see my Jamaican girl friends in the states with their husbands going out, having fun and living a normal life, I get so jealous wishing and hoping I get that soon with my man. Sometimes i feel my tummy turns because I have no idea when it will happen and thers is a possibilty it could be summer 2014 or later. It is hard I am happy for them. I just wish I was also with my boo.

That, hun, is the million dollar question! I truly hope it is sooner than later.

Try, as hard as it may be, to not be jealous of your friends. Be happy for them and look forward to doing the same wonderful things with your hubby when you arrive in Canada. And keep the faith, your application may be one that gets processed quickly; you could be here before you know it.

Tin tin its gud u got to get away im just thinking if u sent kgn a copy of an itinerary that u purchased ur husbands ticket as u did not think it would take so long as it has been seven weeks n counting will they mot do something for u? Am just asking?

they won't care. Kingston does not care about anything however they did email my husband and I again and now they want another updated Schedule A form. I don't know what different item they want us to add on that damn form. They email both of us yesterday and them and their brite self saying he can come pick up the passport if he needs it back, now based on the rudeness i don't think that means that the stamp is in his book. Here's the email they sent. However if you look below we actually got the name of the office working on our file with her number.

Dear Mr XXXXXXXXX

This is further to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
Please see the attached document request and comply with this request as
soon as is possible. If you require your passport back you may come in
to the High Commission and collect it.
