Hello there! I am here! I just came on here today to check out the forum. It is just so busy with work and also working evenings has me tired. Putting in hours from 8:30am till 8pm at least 3 a few times a week. Plus been doing volunteer work in support of my son's hockey team. I am starting to feel burnt out. I need a rest and it is coming soon. I have bee doing this for a couple months now. I finally get a break after this week and won't have to work days and evenings for a while. But here I am! And so far no news on the interview date. But hopefully will get the notes soon so we can see what is being done. You will probably be hearing from Maddants soon. I am glad that some on this forum the process is over and for everyone who is nearing the end. That is good news to hear. Take care!

Whew! Thanks for poppin' in to say hello, Akiikwe. You are one busy lady! It sounds like you need to take a holiday to JA for some R & R! Hang in there!

Good morning and Howdy everyone!

It is a wonderful and great morning for Kingston to start sending some PPRs today!!!

That is weird...I rent all the time and the last time was in January. Avis nor Budget have ever held funds on my card. Once they call Visa or Mastercard they confirm that my card has the collision coverage and that is it. They charge the rental to my card and nothing else.

Call you credit card company and ask about the benefits that they offer pertaining to car rentals.

I will call my credit card company thanks for the advice

Good morning and no worries.

Good morning folks!!!

I wonder what Kingston have in store for us today.

Just remember to check your emails too for PPR. We got ours via email and it was sent to both me and hubby even though I am not listed as his representative.

K I N G S T ON.....LETS GO!!!!!!! WHO IS NEXT?????

Ho hum...

I received my 2nd set of notes this morning (29 days since I ordered them) and there is no additional information in them since the last time I ordered them except:

1) my MP contacted them (I already knew that)
2) hubby's medicals have expired (I already knew that)

My patience with this process is running VERY thin.

Didn't someone say that if you're at the end of your rope, then you must be near the end of the process? :P (but really :'() Ugh.

Hey Cee!!

I can only imagine what you must be feeling right now. Hubby will be leaving on a jet plane in the blink of an eye. I know today and tonight will be a blur to you, but try to rest as best as you can because you know as of tomorrow NO SLEEP FOR YOU.... :P

How much time in between the first and second set. I find that they are not updating the file when they should be.

This inconsistency of documenting was one of the recommendations of their audit. I hear you very frustrating.

Thank for the Invite Nevaeha.

Hello everybody,
I want to ask few questions and I would love if some persons of experience would love to give me some valuable advice please and thank you. So My hubby and I send our application to Canada and they received it Dec 5, 2012 and my hubby was approved and my file send to Kingston Jam, by Jan 5, 2013 where they said they received my medical and they showed a diagram that should give further explanations. From my hubby and I understand the next step should be a letter in writing saying if we were approved or not.
1. How long do you think it could take before we get a response?

2. My hubby came to see me in Feburary and we have new updates do you think we should send those info to Kingston or wait until I get an interview?
3. What do you think are the others stages left in the process?

Welcome!

Relax and stay awhile! You are in good hands that are filled with much experience and information.
From my own experience Kingston never sent a formal letter stating they received our application. The transferred date is usually accurate give or take a few days.
Send them the flight information and any details from your trip...movie stubs...etc. (I will send you the email address)
There is lots to do...it can take 3 months and for some it has been 21 months plus. This forum is about positivity and we believe that all the families here will be reunited in the shortest time possible...by God's Great Glory!

Hope that helped you!
