When we update police check, do we have to do fingerprints again as well? My husband already had them done for Canada and Jamaica, but the police check will soon expire.
Thanks for the information. My husband has never been to Canada so I need not worry.tintin79 said:Hi RL.
My husband lived in Canada from 2006-2011. He was denied refugee and sent back to Jamaica September 2011. Because he lived in Canada way over 6 months, he is required to do fingerprints in order to return to Canada. So the embassy sent him the request to complete his prints at a police station in Kingston, JA, he then brought them to the embassy in Kingston and the prints were mailed to the RCMP in Ottawa. They were mailed out to Canada in April 2012. They were just completed and mailed back to Jamaica on October 26, 2012. So because he lived her over 6 months, he is required to complete prints to ensure he has no criminal charges etc.
Lucky you. he should be home soon.Royal Lolly said:Thanks for the information. My husband has never been to Canada so I need not worry.
And I also predict that it won't be long before things come to light for you as well.ceeallen said:That being said, I'm glad halfmoon and I were not the ones that brought it to the public.....those that did know themselves...
Anyways, enough of that because it's not the end of the world, and I'm still breathing....the only thing I'm concerned abt is kingston sending home my hubz!
