hello everyone,welcome newbies... have not been on here in a while...been so busy...well not anymore.I resigned so got lots more time on my hand...hurricane Sandy wasn't too bad...and indeed she took great news for me..because two days after she came i got my visa...me and my baby girl will be joining hubby in 8 day...for those persons still waiting..cheer up it will be sooner than later..and remember God answers prayers. take care talk to all soon.

Well the time has come...off to JA tomorrow and time to marry my Boo

One day before Sammy's wedding; I hope she is enjoying her time in Jamaica and getting excited for her special day! May her day be beautiful and full of sunshine!!!!!! Congratulations Sammy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to hear all about it upon your return!!!!

since we are on the subject of weddings.......how did you all get married....was it outside, in a church, etc......

I will start.....we had a church wedding, and the reception was at the legion my father belongs too.... my colours were white and navy.....(I have an addiction to Toronto Maple Leafs....sorry! ) We didn't go anywhere for a honeymoon.....just couldn't afford it but we will when hubby gets back here!

Just received an email Friday Nov. 2nd (1 week ago) saying i "have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor"

and checked today to see if Kgn has gotten my "big box of goodies" yet.

I see a note in my file saying My medical results have been received.
Is this happening a little quick? or does this seem to be the right speed i am moving at?

Your wedding day sounds perfect, Chickie!

Hubby and I got married outside in January 2012 at Beaches Negril with about 40 guests. We stayed at the resort for two weeks and enjoyed our honeymoon with family and friends!!!! Then we spent the third week at hubby's home and ran around getting things done for immigration!

Hey Danielle, your process is moving smoothly.. CIC normally updates your file on ecas with meds received. So since you have been approved they are finishing up and will send your file along to Kingston.

Yes Danielle902 mine was the same as yours.....I was told that Canada now receives the medicals so it is them that updates the ECAS with that information not Kingston, your file is on its way to Kingston tho so hold the faith and welcome to Stage 2 with the rest of us....congrats on the approval!

I sent my meds sheet to Kingston.. Unless they sent it to CIC Canada. Mine was updated from Kingston

Moving at perfect speed. Congrats Danielle...My medical results were updated within 5 days as I can recall so it def. sounds in line.

Hoping that this month overflows with positive news for all here.

Nevaeha how are you doing? Our wedding was a traditional one held at a small church by the beautiful seaside followed by a reception held at my husband's friends' resort in Negril.....
