When we update police check, do we have to do fingerprints again as well? My husband already had them done for Canada and Jamaica, but the police check will soon expire.

MAWNIN!

@ Kerols - yes, if redoing Jamaican police criminal check, new prints are part of the complete procedure...

Hi RL.
My husband lived in Canada from 2006-2011. He was denied refugee and sent back to Jamaica September 2011. Because he lived in Canada way over 6 months, he is required to do fingerprints in order to return to Canada. So the embassy sent him the request to complete his prints at a police station in Kingston, JA, he then brought them to the embassy in Kingston and the prints were mailed to the RCMP in Ottawa. They were mailed out to Canada in April 2012. They were just completed and mailed back to Jamaica on October 26, 2012. So because he lived her over 6 months, he is required to complete prints to ensure he has no criminal charges etc.

Thanks for the information. My husband has never been to Canada so I need not worry.

That being said, I'm glad halfmoon and I were not the ones that brought it to the public.....those that did know themselves...

Anyways, enough of that because it's not the end of the world, and I'm still breathing....the only thing I'm concerned abt is kingston sending home my hubz!

And I also predict that it won't be long before things come to light for you as well.

Good Luck Cee.

I heard PING on my BB and saw an email from e-CAS Tracker opened it up and Boom "we can now see the details of your application on e-CAS...Latest update...."In Process".

I then logged in myself to make sure I saw clearly and Boom "in process"

I'm moon walking in my office right now!!!

Wow. Dozens of women ( and men) have come through here all needing the same support for YEARS and this is what you have turned this forum into?

I came back on here to find some info on TRV's and thought I'd see what was up. Thank goodness my time for needing support during this hard waiting period is up. I feel sorry for those who are still waiting and have to sit and read through all of this garbage and any new person who is or will be beginning this journey.

Most of all I feel embarrassed for the people who are contributing to this nonsense.

You all are supposed to be grown women.

*smh*

I use to love this forum.. it's ashame it had to come to this.

have a bless night everyone.

It really is a shame.......there are alot of wonderful people on here! Blessings to all.

I dont ever recall it being like this, we were all very supportive and positive... it's not an easy journey, but ... it's well worth it in the end, once you are together and the wait is over.

I thinks it's fair to say you can agree to disagree, as we have done so in the past on this forum, but keep your dignity and humanity in check! I wish each and every one of you a quick journey-turn to God for guidance and praise, he will steer you along your path.

This forum got me through many lonely nights, through many transitions(friends, familiy, jobs) and gave me strength, I will be forever thankful for these lovely ladies & gents that got me through the rough days!

Enjoy Life, One Love!

"Wow" is all that I can say!
Completely turned off. I wish you all the best, and that your spouses come home soon, but I won't be coming round here much anymore.

Does anyone know of a non-dependant child getting a TRV? (Example.. Niece or nephew)

Thanks.
