Back to work today and Im miserable. Don't bother look at my signature, it ain't pretty. Today not a good day, just tryin to get thru it and look forward to tonight as Lostwithoutu is coming to hang with me all weekend.

so my husband has officially lost his mind.... he is convinced that he has messed up the interview and they are gonna turn him down for the visa.... i keep trying to tell him that everything will work out and he just needs to stay positive but right now there is no talking to him .... he is frustrated about alot of things and right now nothing i say can make him feel better wow this is hard. he lost his job a few months ago .... the company he worked for was bought out by another country and they fired all the They fired all the jamicans and brought in people from there own country to work . he has been actively lookin for work but to no avil . He repairs telephones and computers out of his home and someone called the cops on him for that and they shut him down. Said he needs a licence and proper place of business not out of his home. Honestly I can understand his frustration because right now it seems like no matter what we try at there is some kind of obstacle in our way….boy when my Mother told me there would be tests and trails she was not kidding ……sigh I need to step away form all of this right now and just let my head clear up

the interview has nothig to do with Him and the Interviewer....it all boils down to your relationship, and it being genuine.

He'll get through i know u know this...so its him that right now feel uncertainty...you guys have come this far...God isnt that cruel.....He'll be through and before you know it....may i remind u that you are further ahead...than any of the rest of us in here?...next step it to hear from Kingston, for PPR...thats it....im still highly optimistic for you PPR for xmas.

Hi ladies well I've been reading all your questions comments and updates and am almost more dreading this process More then I was before I joined the forum. This process seemed impossible before and now it seems even harder. I've been married since 2010 October 14th and have in the pasted tried to get my husband visitors visas because I am a cautious kind of woman who always tries to protect myself. I wanted to know that things were real between my husband and I before I bought him my country. It sounds harsh but that just the way i felt. The visitors visa's didn't work out, we got denied twice for bodus reasons. I think i tried to go this way because in a freakish way I was trying to protect myself from failure. Failure of a failed relationship because I'd heard so many negative things about Ja men in the past. Anywho I am now convinced that everything is legit and am willing to take this chance to be happy and live as a happy couple and soon to be family. I am expecting our first child, a daughter in Janury 2013. I just mailed in my application today for his permanent residency. We paid for everything n full all processing fees ect.

Has anyone applied lately that has been expecting? I hear from a few other woman that it takes less time If you are preggers, true or not?

To be honest, I don't think that pregnancies hasten the process, BUT, to my recollection, the last 2 pregnant women on our forum got through in less than 7 months, in time for the father's to witness their births! Good Luck, and I will add you to our spreadsheet!

Hello ladies! Just wondering, since my approval of sponsorship for hubby in June, I haven't heard any news back. The letter said hubby's application for permanent residence was sent to kingston. I haven't received any aknowledgment of receipt from Kingston. Should I be worried?

Hey hun,

Its gonna be hard right now.. the hardest part is usually the last part of the race before the smiles at the finish line. You never see a rainbow without a storm in the midst. Frustration has a way of tearing apart the mind and soul.. Try not to let it get the best of you and no matter what you guys have to be there for each other.. It's not what you say sometimes, it's just knowing you're there. Remind him of the bigger picture! YOU, HIM, and your girls together and also what he said, "No ONE will separate his family!" As for work, good things are coming, he may have hit a snag right now but God opens doors that NO ONE can shut!
