Welcome keke ...don't fret too much the 16 month wait is very rare kingston seem to be on a slow pace right now but I have faith that they will pick up the pace soon and start stamping dem passorts with visas reuniting people for christmas ...stick n stay we are little family here who support each other... Was wondering if any of the wonderful people in this forum know where I can look for a cheap flight for december??(I know such short notice and the prices are probably CRAZY expensive) but I have wishful thinking and hopefully get a deal for Kingston leaving the week of the 17th I believe?? Or what does everyone use to travel to Kingston beside Air Canada?

Mellisa I always travel on carribean it has the best rates to kgn ..u can carry 2 piece of luggage for free 50lbs ...nuff people don't like to fly carribean cause they call it sell out but I have to say I've flown westjet,air canada and carribean and the experience is the same so why not use the one u can get for cheaper down side to carribean though they leave toronto late and leave jamaica early

Welcome to all the newbies, looks like 2012 was a year of love and a hearty hello to everyone else!

To be honest, the way Kingston is moving is tooo depressing for me No word, not a ting! I was going to hold off going back for a visit because we are soon approaching our 1 yr mark and was hoping this would all be behind us soon, but I just don't know!

Medicals & PCC have expired my husband is going to redo them, can't remember...should he redo both or just the medical and send that in?

Still news for me. just wanted to share a little insight on the meds redo, my husband meds expired in may
I wanted him to redo them but my mp says its better to wait for the request from KG because the officer does not like it

i do not book online i have a travel agent who hooks me up with the best rates possible ... she is always on the look out for good rates into kgn for me ..... if you dont mind me asking your location .... im am just asking cause i live in brampton and thats where my travel agent is so if this was your area i could totally hook you up with the deets and you could call her and see what she could do for you

Well I agree, it is too damn quiet, in Kingston and in here lol... I admit, since I returned, I have been very sad that I am not with hubby and that I had to leave him in JA once again. I have jumped right back into my crazy work schedule. SInce arriving home after midnight on Wednesday, I have put in 53.5 hours and counting lol. At least I work with good people and my patients are great at putting a smile on my face too. I am lucky to love my job.

I hope that this message reaches everyone well and that you are all in good health and keeping your spirits high. This is not an easy road and we all deserve the happiness that will be ours at the end of this. Remember, we are stronger than most and we will have learned many things from this process that will help keep our relationships strong! I am proud of everyone of you for having the courage to keep waiting everyday. Be proud of yourselves!!!!
