Friend of mine is sponsoring her man from Kingston....

please let me know which medical pratcioner he needs to go to, the address, and where he needs to go for police check

For the PCC: He can pay the fees ($1,000 regular/21 business days or $2,000 express/5 business days) at ANY tax office using his TRN and he should carry his ID in case they want to see it. He then takes the receipt from the tax office, 2 passport sized photos and his passport to the Criminal Records Division at 34 Duke Street to have his fingerprints taken. He should arrive early, they open at 8 a.m. but lineup starts at 7 a.m. or earlier. The good news is that they have less people rushing that one so he should expect to be there for about 2-3 hours or so, not the whole day like it used to be.

I have a quick question... I don't know if anyone will know the answer to this but we are having some difficulty with my husbands ex. She has signed the document saying that her son can come to Canada with his father. With the document we are supposed to send some sort of i.d. from her, but she does not have a passport or a drivers license so she only sent a photocopy of her birth certificate. Also, she would not write an emergency contact number because she says she doesn't have a phone.
Do you think if we send his application in, it could hurt our application? My husband is worried that it will make everything take longer, or that they may not let him come, do you think they would deny just a child and still accept my husband? or would they deny both of them? or will they just let them both come? uhhh so stressful.

Talked to a lady from FBI records department today and she confirmed that hubby's records were sent out yesterday!!!!! Finally! so hopefully I'll have them within a week and I can send them to Kingston.. Should is end a renewed police certificate from the bahamas as well. I already sent one with the original application.

I have this feeling that that is the only thing holding back my app and I should be finished by December (wishful thinking but I strongly feel that way)

I am wondering If they will extend hubby's medicals.. Oh I pray!! He would have to travel to do medicals and he can't with his job right now.. A least not til Christmas and hopefully we will be done by then..

But anyway nuff a da babbling.. Kingston work it out!!

I'm a bit worried about the interview the lady had hubby n da room for close to an hour asking all sorts of questions...at one point she even go as far as say how she fi believe say a legit thing and not some imigration scam which set my husband off him tell her say him naw go sit down and let her cast judgement on his marriage and if dem don't believe our marriage is real that's on them cause only God alone can judge him. Him tell her say she sorry if she think she can judge us cause weather them want give him di piece of paper or not so he can come here and we can move on with our lives then that not gonna make a difference cause weather its him coming here or me going there we will be spending our lives togahter.

Lol u should see the looks we were given when we walk up to the place with one big box of letters pictures and phone records ...security was checking the box like say a bomb we did have lol but I have to say things work out good we had the dna test results pictures up on pics letters form both sides of the family pastors police jp even baby mama come to her sense and jump on board sent a letter that they did not have a previous relationship and explained the details told them she gave baby gir permssion to come to canada had signed affidavid from jp from both of them phone records from 6 years back emails everything...so now a just the wait game

LOL, I love those security guards at KG, they take themselves so seriously.

RFMO, I wouldn't worry too much about your husband's response. It was an honest one, and along with the documentary evidence, it should prove that your relationship is fine.

LDL, an inadmissible accompanying dependent can render the primary applicant inadmissible. So the ex needs to understand that she is sabotaging the child's chances by refusing to provide all the necessary information. It will definitely lengthen the process if KG asks for additional information.
