to first lady welcome....I have been waiting almost as long as you i applied last April paper work sent off in June to Kingston and I never got an AOR. when my consultant emailed them...they said the reason I never received one is because they do not require anything from me...my status changed to processing application on April 5th this year I received a letter with the additional documents they were requesting....they gave me 60days to take them in...I did so in a little less than 30 that was a week ago am back in the waiting line, not knowing whats gonna happen next..so once again welcome to the forum and the waiting club...where all you need is a little faith and a lot of patience. .
we will all get there soon.

Good morning everyone. Thanks for sharing your update with us Akinna. Are you the applicant or sponsor? You mention you received a letter from Kingston and provided information within 30 days. Reason why I ask is if KG sends out a letter requesting PP, interview, additional docs would they send that my husband who is in Jamaica or would they notify me? You see, he doesn't receive mail directly to his home but rather to the post office in Lucea so it makes me a bit concerned that a letter from KG can come at anytime and it just sits at the post office.

What has everyone's experience been with receiving communication from KG. Letter, phone call, email?

Congrats to you Mrslwsn, you're time frame gives much hope to all that is waiting. Would you mind sharing your total experience. Sorry I haven't been on this forum for a long time so don't know everyone's history....

One more question everyone, does my husband get a different client number from mine for online status purposes?

Ready previously mentioned that she was able to log on with her hubby's name, dob, etc and it populated info......was this using the same UCI number provided by the visa office in Mississauga or a new number provided by KG?

I think its a 50/50 mix of people getting requests in the mail and request by phone, so tell hubby to check his mailbox weekly lol!!

As for checking hubby's e-cas... when I got AOR of Mississauga, the letter had a UCI# as well as a F- File #. The F# is what allows me to check hubby's e-cas using his birthdate and details...

Ecase has updated my hubby's status to decision made!!!!!!!!!

I'm crying, I'm so happy, just called him, he's in a cab....BRAPBRAP!!!

For all of my famJam that keeps us in prayers and good and positive thoughts, a thousand thank you's!!!!!

I tried using the F# and here is what it says:

This form is incomplete. Please provide the necessary information below, then send your request again.

1. Client ID Number/Unique Client Identifier has four (4) numbers, a hyphen (-), and four (4) more numbers. (Example: 0000-0000).

Never mind - I just tried again and it works! His mailing address is up! I had to select immigration file number NOT client ID. ;D

Hello Family,

I have not been on here for a quick minute but I'm doing well. Congrates to all the updates and hang in there to those still waiting. Baby boy is due in 2 weeks so I guest any day now. I'm anxiously waiting. Hubby is so good. Him just fit right in. He is not working yet mainly due to the baby's soon arrival. I am excited everyday.

Halfmoon, your husband's Client ID will be different from yours. In our case, I noticed that all the digits except the last 2 were the same, as in his were something like 82 and mine 84. I am not sure if this is coincidence or standard.

Charlie you read it right the first time. He was on the app but just on the form where hubby had to put family members down. They sent my app back saying we had to fill out the additional depend ants forms with him on there because I thought if he was nonaccompanying that was where I put his info (family member form) but now I am asking since I have to add him to the form additional depend ants can I put him as accompanying now and send in the additional 150 dollars.

Chickie, it's really up to you. As you have not yet been approved to sponsor, I think you might be able to add him as accompanying with no issues once you pay the fees and include the receipt with the returned package. You might want to attach a note saying you originally had him as non-accompanying and that is why you listed him as additional family, but as you have to add him as a dependent, you wish to make it accompanying.

Sure. Well been with my husband 6 years, got married in Mobay on Valentines day 2010. I have 4 children from previous relationship, he has no bio kids, but raises mine as his. He tried for a visitors visa in 2009, was turned down without interview. We finally filed on November 24th/11 and I recieved an email on Jan/13th/12 saying they recieved my app (from cic missisauga) I was after that able to log in to e-cas using my details only. I believe I was approved as sponsor on Jan/25/12 and they stated in that letter the file was sent to kgn. So then I forget the exact date, early March I checked e-cas and I was able to get in under my hubby name, and it had changed to "in process". Like a week later he got a call to send his passport, our original marriage cert & his original birth cert and a prepaid envelope to send it back. The visa was issued March 31st/12. We were quite surprised at how fast we got through, so I am hoping said speed for lots of you guys just beginning this process. One thing I would recommend is making your app solid, without going overboard. I would love to know the reason why we did get crazy fast processing. My husband wasnt even ready to come, as he has his own business in Mobay, but I told him the timing for me would be good around end of April so finally he gave in and came Apr/29/12. Took him about 4 weeks to get a job, but he is now gainfully employed in his field (mechanic) So everything worked out pretty great.
