yes waiting is not one of my strongest points...im sure many can say that, but i have zero patience to wait for anything...but at the same time...after all this leasti now im waiting for something.

going to escape the hell next month, and get a dose of my hubby and good wood for a bit, so that should sort me out, and take of the edge for the first part of the process: sponsorship approval...im hoping to only have to make a july, oct, and xmas trip back, before he then comes up here, and if it happens like that...then ill get through all this...did last year....not like we have a choice right.

ready, jamgirl has graciously agreed to update the board. Charlie won't be a stranger though I know, after you spend a couple years of your life on here we still come back to check on our friends. After a time we hesitate to offer advice due to the changing regs and do not want to steer someone based on how things used to be ;D

We filed for my hubby in Sept '06 and he was landed with his PR card Oct '10

Our process now is dependant child sponsor Date filed was Jan '2012-Waiting on consent from the mother

@anada trust me my girl i know how you feel it is june and i have been back to ja 3 times already this year- not sure when i can make it back cause of my workl sitiuation but if i by august there isnt some serious movements in our case i will be going home for a labour day weekend
my faimily thinks i am nuts because i will buy a ticket for 4-5 bills just to spend a weekend with my husband (but untill they walk a mile in my shoes they have no clue wht it si like going from day to day without him being by my side and 400 hundred in my eyes is worth it just to have him wrap his arms around me ;D

pffft!! id do the same, a wife's gotta do what a wifes gotta do, and we full well know if the shoe was on the other foot, theyd be doing it for us. Besides...nuff spend that much per month just on cigarettes, weekends on the patio, and fast food per month, so...400/500 bills for a whole weekend in ur mans arm overseas is really not that much pending how u wanna look at it.

i also see it this way, im not from the city where i currently reside..and it takes me 4 hours just to drive to go back and visit ppl i dont even really like....when i can spend only half as much more in gas, and pitstops for food and fly 3.5 hours to go spend time with the man i love♥♥

Hey ready! I still haven't heard anything at all....... really ticks me off that March is getting approval already and I still haven't heard a word back......constantly all day long I am checking my emails, running home after work just to see if they sent it by mail but nothing, really gets you depressed that is for sure. I am a very positive thinking person but shucks, this sucks big time Yes I agree, at least if we heard something, anything then we would know that our process has started but not hearing anything makes you sit back and wonder (the things that make you go hmmmmm LOL)

Believe me you will all hear when I know, I will be shouting at the top of my lungs hahahha

all i know now is MY time consuming part of over....my man woulda been up here LONGTIME..but we had to start from scratch where ID was concerned..and get everything piece by piece, and literally. We just got his passport in JA, marriage license in JAN birth certificate end of July...and none of us knew we could have started this whole process even before the wedding BUT....least this past year has allowed us to accumulate the 'proof' we need that we've been able to maintain our relationship.
