Welcome to Dahlia, who is almost at the end of her process! Decision Made is a good thing, KG will advise your husband how to get his passport. Some persons are asked to send prepaid airwaybills from Airpak or DHL, mostly those not close to Kingston. I picked up mine because I am in Kingston. No worries now, it's time to be planning your reunion!

Anada, get ready to get your table space back! Check all forms for appropriate signatures, make sure everything is ordered according to the checklist (make sure the checklist is completed too!) and then put the package aside to let it "cool". Then send it! Congrats and welcome to the line to get in line!

hubby is getting meds done monday and pcc on tuesday he only has 60days from the date of the letter to get things in !!! and the letter stated that 4 weeks after he does meds he is to bring some papers and his passports to kingston . so im guessing the letter is his passport call too then??? what u guys think??

Hi everyone. congratulations on so many great updates!!!! Wow seems like some serious work being done by Kingston now (good thing since it seemed they were on holidays from June 2009 to January this year lol)

I have a question, my Father in law will be in Buffalo for a month and it seems a shame we cannot go visit him while he is there. How difficult is it to get a visitor visa to the US with a PR? how much is it and where do we apply for one?

Hubby enrolled in school, there are some great programs, for trades ,(electrician, plumbers, mechanical, welding) or ESL, We both got free memberships to the Y and free buspasses (if needed) all kinds of things to get you started these government programs are great and free for newcomers to Canada!!
And if you plan on purchasing a new home there is a great incentive for new immigrants! wow !! it's great ;D

thank you all for your enlightenment on the process. It has been a busy weekend as to why I am only replying now.

For my husband and I this process started on the 14th of December and we are now in the final stages which is not bad. We got married and took some time to file the docs so at this point it has been 5 months but feels like forever. Need him here and now. Hopefully he will be here soon but I work better with dates than with just being stuck without a firm date to expect him by.

Anyway I will keep you all posted and once again thanks.
