Hubby proposed to me...holay crap....3 yrs ago today, over the phone...was too sweet.

The one thing I love about this day, I never had to remind my new hubby of what day it was. First thing this morning, a call from JA....sending love and all that mushy stuff. :-*

Ali, quite a coincidence, I proposed 3 yrs ago today as well. The Mrs got me though as I'd sent the rings down ahead of time so they would be there, I put rings on the package so customs could verify the contents without openeing the package. Curiousity got the best of her and she'd opened them prior to me popping the question, thought she was being overly sweet on the phone a week or so before. Oh such sweet memories. Those that were with thier loved ones vowed to make the best of the day on behalf of those that could not be, so, our vow to you is to make the best of this day. A little lobster, a little chocolate, a beautiful boquet of flowers, a little jewelry, and I'm sure she'll throw in a little something too. ;D Those in line will be together with their loved ones for next valentines.

Well, yesterday I was wanting so bad to get on the board or get in line to be in line lol. I guess the Lord heard my cry! So I received an email today saying that I am approved to sponsor and application is on its way to Kingston! Yayyyyyy!

@Canuck and other veterans who have already gone through this process. The anxiety level is really high when you're waiting to be re united and it becomes all you can think about day and night. Looking back, what are some things that you would have spent more time preparing/working on while waiting for hubby/wife to arrive.
