LHNB, the important thing is always remember that each application is different and will be assessed differently by the IO. We all have watched as some cruise through in record time and others seemed to have stalled. As the VO has no communication with you and any attempts to gain a glimpse into your status usually go un answered you will become frustrated with the whole process. Those active in thier day to day lives seem to fair a little better. Not saying it's easy for anyone, just having something to take your mind off it for even a little while is healthier. This can be work, hobbies, volunteer work etc, whatever you enjoy doing. It is not only you, but in my case (in many others as well), understanding that my spouse has put her life on hold waiting for the "call". Personally I always booked my next flight soon after I would get home as it helped countdown the days until we could be together again, some found that hard to do. Always keep positive even on the down days and help keep your spouse from losing patience as well. Expect some dis-agreements with each other, some get impatient where a spouse appears to have a lack of comittment into the process. Remember that God will only what they can handle, that lack of response maybe your spouse is overwhelmed at that moment and needs a little space, this is normal so help one another through the slow times. Both spouses will have to deal with thier family and friends doubts and may feel that pressure from time to time, this will evolve into making you both stronger and more comitted to your relationship. Once you're with your spouse and you are discussing the process you will be amazed what they have had to go through as well just to be with you. So in my humble opinion, find something you amuse yourselves while you wait, don't fret the little stuff that you cannot control.
