All 4 1, quite a few have gotten through on the FSW program as they were selected through the the list of 29. If someone you know has a degree on the list have them apply quickly as CIC historical takes 500 from each group. Now that may have changed this year

So I have been reading back a few pages and I noticed some posts about AOR's... I am not up to date on all the acronyms for everything immigration related, but from what I read I am getting this understanding.... Mississauga may or may not send correspondence informing sponsor of applicant received? (I received such correspondence on Dec 12, 2011). As well, KGN may or may not send correspondence or update e-CAS of "application received"? Just curious if this is the next thing I should or should not expect...

Hey Jamgirl, getting an AOR is a bit of a crap shoot, although some do receive one, most do not. You should be able to log into Ecas as we see that you were approved to sponsor. After that you'll probably not see anything til hubby's home so don't let it get you down. Expect absolutely no communications from KG and you won't be disappointed

Hello Forum!! Just decided to pop in and see what is going on. Canuck!! Long time my friend hope all is well.

Didnt have enough time to go through everything but I wanted to see if Charlie had gotten any word yet. whats up with that girl? no word at all... how frustrating that must be for you. Hold tight and in due time you will be reunited with your hubby.

I am glad to see the time lines are still quite short compared to a few years back! I know when your going through it, it doesnt feel short but this process will soon be a distant memory for you ladies n gents.

kc, has been a long time mi fren, how is our little Tiana Marie doing, getting big and mobile I'll bet. Things are great here, enjoying a beautiful winter so far, if the weather can hang on a little longer winter will soon be done. Got to enjoy a few glorious weeks in the sun last month so things are good. The Mrs has settled in well, she was more anxious to come back here than I was. She seems disappointed that the snow is melting. Agreed on Charlie, although we love her to death, time for her to move on. Well thanks for the hail up and stay in touch eh!!!

Yes I have been able to log on to e-CAS. Under the Sponsor column, it says "Decision Made". Under the PR column, it says "application Received". When you open that link it further states that my app was received on Oct. 19, 2011 and then underneath that, medicals received...

I wasn't sure if they would update it to when app was received in KGN but my approval letter from Dec. 22, 2011 stated that they has already forwarded my app from Mississauga to KGN and surely that doesnt take 2 months...

am really just curious if there will be another notification or simply my husband should wait for his phone to ring... We have a child together and as I just returned last week from a visit to JA, I am seeing our child wanting his daddy... Surely it is a long wait, I have tried to be patient, but since returning from this most recent trip, I am more anxious as usual...

Welcome to Jamgirl and as has been said before, do stick and stay! You are in the line, and I will add you to the 2011 list when I post the next update after this post. You should allow yourself at least 6 months of nothing but waiting with no news, and then KG will wake up and start working on your husband's file and then he should start keeping his phone close. Basically, they don't communicate until they are almost done, unless they want an interview in which case he will get a letter requesting he attend one, usually interview requests come within the first 6 months, but not always.

KC!!! Thanks for stopping by! It's so nice to hear from you. Nope, no word yet. I honestly refuse to feel frustration, although some days I will confess to annoyance, haha! All things in good time, I believe in that.

Canuck, I busted up laughing so hard at some of those jokes. Honestly, stuff like that should scare the daylights out of those of us who have to travel by plane, LOL!!

Yes it is not easy being here without him... but we manage. Going home to JA for visits helps but it also hard financially with the little one... Really just wanting this to be over, and our family whole. On my last visit, our son got really attached to my husband. Now, really understanding who he is, "daddy". It is really hard for my husband to be without him.

I have been on other forums but could never find timelines or other ppl applyin for Kingston. Very thankful to be here, where I can relate and hopefully, some can relate to me as well...

Previous to finding this forum, I had been talking to others on FB and in comparison with their timelines, found that my husbands medicals were processed rather quickly. I know that I should not closely compare with others as everyones case is different, but it is too hard not to, lol. I have been giving myself the hope that if this part of his application went quickly then maybe the rest will also... I know that I could be setting myself up for disappointment
