Thanks for updating that. Indulge me folks..because I know this has been addressed before...but does having your meds recieved often mean your close to the PPC???

close to PPR yes doubt its a glitch as others have gotten PPR this time aorund with this batch of meds received

Often, yes. Always, no. According to CIC, that notification is an indication that processing is essentially complete and a decision is imminent.

The caveat to that is, as I've said it many times now, the last time I saw this many candidates with the same update from this many offices, it meant nothing. I want to be wrong this time and hope that it means something, but I'm a pessimist by nature. I'll wait for more people to start moving from KG to think it means something. The Propers were a special situation, so I am not going to use them as a measuring stick. If you guys start flooding the thread with PPR calls over the next couple weeks...well!

Ked- when hubby did the drop off of his pp they dint give him a time and they dint give him a time to pick it up tomorrow so he is going in the morning. Hopefully its not a long wait!!

Well im friggen furious with my husband...dropped his phone in the water and has't got a new one yet today like he was supposed to. Hes away at work till late so i can't reach him and im sitting here all freaking out because immigration couldn't reach him right now if they were trying...not saying they would be so soon.

Anyone know what happens if they call and can't reach you? I'm very anxious about this!

They will keep trying. Who knows, maybe KG will send an email PPR one of these days? Also, did you provide them with your numbers? They might try to reach you as well. I know of one applicant (not from KG) that an office couldn't reach and they contacted his mother. Not that her number was anywhere on the application, mind you, so you never know what they dig up on you when they do those background checks!

SQ- tell hubby to call the phone company. Mr proper lost his phone but went and got a chip and they let him use the same number. I'm not sure what happens when they can't reach him. Someone else who knows will be able to answer that

Mine still says recieved...it just says the med thing under where it says which date they recieved it. I really hope its not a glitch either...way to excited!

LOL except he's away at work...so i can't reach him either hence the immense frusteration!! Nerves and frusteration are not a good combo. I need him to seriously get his phone because when they do call..packing up our life is a HUGE HUGE job....and hopefully there is no date we need to be gone by because imagine trying to pack up in a week like your hubby had to do Mrs. Proper...lawd jesus help me!

SQ - the date of the expiration of the PR visa will be tied to the 1-year anniversary of his medical. That is why Mr P is being hustled out of the country in double-quick time, his meds expire this week. As I recall you guys did your medicals earlier this year, so it is unlikely you will be required to pack up and move in a week like Mr P, if you guys are approved this month. You will have plenty of time to pack up and land.

And its beyond hectic. Between work and cleaning the heels of my feet are bruised. I barely have time to eat!!! Lol By the time he gets here I am gonna fall on my face lol. friday night we are going out with some friends and the kids are gone for the night can't wait!!!
