OMG, this is so bad, isnt there anything that we can do to all this mess sorted out man. Good God, can people be so cold and insensitive towards another, misplacing important document, dem mus be running a patty shop.

well i dont see how after they lose u orig docs they gonna hold out issuing your visa...they must have seen it already no? so the meds number seem more important right now...

CORRECTION... i dropped my passport off now 3 weeks, but in the second week i went back to drop off my sons passport...if u read back u will see exactly what happened why i made two trips...

Chuckie, I'm sorry to hear that you too are on the receiving end of CIC's Foolishness.
Kgn pass out of order you hear, I know they are in some kinda mess for sure, cos they also told me when they called for PPR that they could'nt find our RPRF, yet they had processed the application to the point of PPR. so obviously at some point they must have seen the payment.
looks to me like someone needs to be employed at their offices, who check verify and update document numbers, in the event paper work goes missing, so they can actually move along and deal with the incompetence and missing documents later. these people just dont get it that they are dealing with people's lives.

I know I should be over the moon with excitement after getting my good news, and I am, but when you hear of these horror stories, it makes you so uneasy, till you get back your passport in your hand.
I often wonder if these happenings are for real, or if I'm dreaming. SMH

anyway fingers toes and a few other things crossed that they get a grip real quick and sort this mess out. Cos kgn nuh want mi pray God fi dem.

Hubby is like "no way, how do you lose people's Documents? and who is gonna pay for replacing them? do they have a degree in messing up or what?" You hit it on the nail hubby I think they do. ???

Anxious they dont give a rats baxide you hear, they dont see it wrong to play God with People's lives, and in the event the meds have to be redone its not just a money thing, but it will also add time to the overall processing. (lets hope that does not happen though).

But mi still say the Devil is a liar from the pit of hell,
who seeks to destroy people's lives, "if he can".

but it cant go on forever, it is God's will for Families to be together,
and his "WILL", will always come to pass.
God is in Control. not Immigration Canada.
so one thing,that is going to happen, is this whole mess will have to be set loose in Jesus name, AMEN
wether skilled worker. family class, conjugal Partners. there will have to be a change and breakthrough in the way they handle files.
watch and see. it just cant continue this way.

Wow.... why when I come on here in the hopes of hearing some nice pretty update I read some foolishness..... ???

Chukie, welcome back...but for real? lost documents? the thing that sticks out for me is that for them to claim they are "LOST" they must of had them at one point. It can take a long time to get a new marriage certificate and birth papers again. Lord Jesus they must take people for fool. If they are claiming that things are lost, did they not provide a solution? Did they not say that they will be taking such and such action, or that they require you to take such and such action? When will they be informing you of what should happen next? They should be contacting you and letting you know what is going on. I would be on them like fly on sh!t. Email, Fax, Phone Call, MP everything!!

In my opinion they should really deal with the photocopies in the mean time and continue the process of the application instead of puttin it no the backburner till them sort their own problems out. How frustrating is that....

Look how many people have been held back because of their errors... its coming waaaay to common. This is frustrating to say the least! It is starting to look a little suspicious - where they hire these people man. Me well know that Jamaica holds some seriously hard workin people... youd think the canadian embassy of all places would have some real high standards and want to hire those hard workin honest people - not some slackers.

Thx for all the well wishes regarding baby too counting down the days now... 3 days till I move, 27 days till I go on Mat leave, 52 days till Tiana born and 135 days till I land in JA again. Yup, me and hubby are coming back FINALLY to pay a long visit... we are going to also baptise the little princess when we are there... I wanted the real deal, through hubbies church they go to the sea and do the whole "john the baptist thing"... so a lot to look forward to!!

GOD BLESS I hear yu with the RPRF thats a nxt ting they should check b4 they call (although you can pay it after) but they just play with yu emotions its a rollercoaster ride but i not enjoying this ride it too rough THE ONLY GOOD TING THEY SAY THEY HAVE IS WE RPRF but what good is that if them misplace the rest? I like the way you say "ON THEM LIKE FLY ON SH**" trust me thats how it is from now on but they never reply to calls, e-mails etc. hopefully once they get the med number they will just deal with the copies and not ask for originals again WE SEE......??

ON A BETTER NOTE glad you soon move & have your baby in your arms. we want ONE more child but cant plan til we settle together but patience is a virtue & good things come to those who wait hopefully ONE DAY we can be looking back at this experience coz it shall pass!! TAKE CARE OF YOU & THE FAM

Hello Friends!!! Just a little update today was hubby day off and we spend a day at hellshire beach we had a great time… hoping for kg to give some good updates tomorrow ;D ;D ;D

Soanxious… I am indeed fulfilling myself and I don’t think we will go to mobay but looks like we may go to ochie on sunday… and I am hoping they call hubby before I leave but we will see what happens… I’m keeping my fingers crossed…

GETTING A LAWYER IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!! THEY ARE CRAP! ESPECIALLY MY SO CALLED LAWYER, ANYONE WANTS TO KNOW HIS NAME I WILL GLADLY INBOX IT. HE IS THE MOST INCOMPETENT PIECE OF SH8T EVER! I WOULD LOVE TO TELL HIM THAT TO HIS NASTY FACE! AAAARGH!

I am so thankful and will be forever grateful for the information i gathered from this forum and for the people who guided me through this entire process,(though i am not done) had i known of this forum before we filed we would have saved some money.
