Ramdont, it is definately a good Idea for you to get in touch with your MP ASAP, Waiting since December is definately too long for a pick up call.
your MP in Canada Carries more weight, than you emailling or calling yourself, I think Immigration may even have a service standard as to how long it takes to reply to queries made by MP's.
I have only been waiting a week since drop off. and I know the anxiety you must feel, to get the all important call and having to wait for your pick up call this long.
but please get on top of finding out who your MP is, and let them query what the hold up is on your file at this stage.

P.S we were told when we got the drop off call, that our RPRF was not showing up. and that it could cause some delays in finalizing the visa.
Hubby made a few calls to Missisauga and Ecas now shows "Complete".
clicked into that, and it says A decision has been made Etc.
(STILL ABIT PUZZLED, at getting that update before landing) anyway fingers crossed, hoping they have found our fees and issued the visa.

I already researched who the MP is so I will be calling them first thing in the morning! My husband's ecas is still saying 'in process' even though they called fo pp drop off so long ago! From what I know, 'complete 'normally comes up after the person is landed, so maybe they are having glitches in the system!!

I hope all these glitches and hitches get sorted out soon, this process is hard enough on everyone without computer malfunctions adding to the stress.

I should be meeting up with Mr & Mrs Lonely_wife soon, they are at dinner right now, we should be meeting at Devon House for ice-cream I am rather enjoying my role as updates keeper and now "meeter and greeter"! It's been a pleasure finding this site and being adopted into this forum family, I am making new friends along the way!

All this baby talk has got me suddenly "baby on the brain", LOL. Hubby and I were discussing the pregnancies in the forum, and he was saying how it's a good thing he found this place for me, not only have I received help with the Immigration process, but I am getting information on "being pregnant in Canada" too!

Now...what am I going to wear, mi have clean clothes ???

You're welcome Jamdont, My ecas is also showing ''in process'' though they have my passport. Who knows what they up to in kgn but one thing i hope they are up to is getting families reunited! We need our spouses...all this waiting is torturous enough for us to have to be dealing with all the glitches...

Oh well, i am being very optimistic for this week, tomoro i know we will have some more PPRs...Godbless i am keeping my fingers crossed for us this week, but if not this week then we still not very far away.

Godbless, soanxious, hoping to hear some good news for you guys today or this week. You are in the home stretch now, start contemplating everything you need to pack, and what you're going to do with the rest!

I had a lovely meet and greet at Devon House with Lonely_wife and her husband. Such a sweet "young" couple (I feel ancient compared to anyone still in their 20's ), LOL. We had ice-cream, she tried Devon Stout for the first time, LOL. We sat around talking for just over an hour, then had to scoot home because it was starting to rain.

For a laugh this morning:
A wife arrived home after a long shopping trip, and was horrified to find her husband in bed with a young, lovely thing. Just as she was about to storm out of the house, her husband stopped her with these words: "Before you leave, I want you to hear how this all came about. Driving home, I saw this young girl, looking poor and tired, I offered her a ride. She was hungry, so I brought her home and fed her some of the roast you had forgotten about in the refrigerator. Her shoes were worn out so I gave her a pair of your shoes you didn't wear because they were out of style. She was cold so I gave her that new birthday sweater you never wore even once because the color didn't suit you. Her slacks were worn out so I gave her a pair of yours that you don't fit into anymore. Then as she was about to leave the house, she paused and asked, 'Is there anything else that your wife doesn't use anymore?' "And so, here we are!"

Thanks Nae, it feels like a weight has been lifted to finally have a place in line. Well, hubby tells me the final weight of our app was 5lbs, so yeah, it was a weight alright!

I am hoping we get processed in good time...and really want to see more green on the 2010 list, and a couple more "Landed" statuses I don't want much, do I? :

Hi back NAE ..lol ;D and yup this forum is definately the place to vent and feel better...WE ALL have had our moments and that is what makes this forum so special with all the members supporting each other and making us feel better. It was what got me through SO many tough days of being alone...just coming on here and reading and posting once in a while how I was feeling....afterwards I just felt so much better knowing someone else knew exactly how I was feeling..where as your friends have NO idea what we are going through. I will always be thankful for this forum!!!! ;D and all the great people I have met here.

KC good luck with your move to your new place on the weekend...lots happening in your world..it must be so exciting right now for you and hubby...bless up and do not lift any big items : ;D
