We were not asked to re-do our police checks.... just the medical and the fees.....Do you think I should ask hubby to do police check again regardless??

Hi Sassy,

Tough question. Reality is, if they didn't ask for it, they don't need it BUT since he has to re-do the others anyhow, a police clearance only takes a few days. If he's handing the other receipts, if he has the police clearance and they say no - well it's only a few bucks and a few hours out of his life. But if they turn around and ask for it later (which is highly unlikely), then it will slow things down.

So, if it were me - I'd do it... but 99.9% chance they won't want it.

hi forum- so i didnt end up going dinner on my bday.....
i actually went to the hospital saturday .......so doc say mi have no iron...hig blood pressure...mi need fi eat...mi over tired...i need lottsa fluid.....and ofcourse mi magga...lol.....so right now i gots iron pills..imma do good piece of grocery in week with fruits and everything..so i can get my body back together..
today i am feeling better than i have fi about 2 week now so not bad...i am cooking and just doing a lil cleanup ....tryna stay moving the bed held me down for too long.......but i thank u all for the bday wishes and i will make up for it trust me....

hey soso..a date in mind for the get together...what aabout the family day long weekend.....maybe we all like ff said go to a restaurant with two big tables eat,drink,laff.....maybe the saturday..atleat everyone will have the other 2 days with their kids and family what not...so just another opinion....and i agree with kc...this get toether thing should first be just us ladies getting to meet each other... so soso get this sorted and set conf date/time/location so we have summe else to look forward to..lol.... love you all.....

stressed - feel better!! I know a thing or two about iron deficiency... I have shillings. My body isn't able to absorb iron. Iron supplements are really tough on your stomach so make sure you eat when you take them ... and a good thing too is to take a B12 supplement. It helps with absorption of iron and has a bunch of other good benefits (mood, sleep, stress relief).... probably all the things you need through this process

Take care of yourself ... we can only take care of others if we're healthy ourselves

as far as for the first annual get together...i am newly 26 with no kids so i am of course always down for drinks and good food, but i am a family girl, so i would not be bothered if things were kid friendly either, what ever works for the majority, but i do say the sooner the better cause i am sooooooo excited to meet you all

Greetings to yuh all..............in the name of our Saviour Jesus Christ.................It's good to b a life and doing well in health. Sorry to hear about these how have to visit the doctor...............also.........Yes..........a pr card holder have to obtain a visa..........at the U.S embassy down town and the process gos the same way like in Ja. Lonely yuh near yuh time and I hope for positive result for yuh and ur family. Also about the police clearence............they could have not requested it because he has to get a arc report............which they could have already checked out his background on a different scale.............so why waste ppl money. I pray that will do good things forr those that are waiting and who got report on their files.
