i have a meeting in 5 and am just checking in... hope all are safe, my family near spalding and friends in manchester seem to have fared well... i don't think kgn saw much more than a lot of rain and a bit of breeze... hope st thomas held up too...

the letter is nice, i suggest you get one from at least 4 or 5 other people (they actually don't need to be so personal, just stating that they know you to be a married couple and have known you for x years... but the personal touch can help on some )... one word of personal advice, when posting anything online, you should try to make a bit more effort to block out all names/addresses and other personal info... you just never know, all sorts of sickos out there who can take an inch and go a mile and make your life miserable... once you post something, its out there online until the server dies or the information is permenantly archived, so you never know who might come across it a month or year from now! i hope you'll edit accordingl

the letter that i think you personally should focus on is one that comes from you and your husband that discusses the interview, the treatment, how some things were unexpected, the disappointment of not feeling fairly treated ect... they should understand that the responses (or lack of) given were perhaps due to being put off guard rather than just not knowing/caring... it needs to be to the point, but not emotional... and of course, you need to have a lot of evidence to back up the letter... saying that you hope that the additional proof will suffice, also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask for another interview.. and really take it seriously as far as discussing every detail you can think of that they might ask

What a month November has been so far.

Maple....I'm at work right now. Came in at 10:50 when work starts at 8:30. I should so resign! I don't see the point of coming here and sitting with these evil people anymore. But part of me is worried cause I don't know how long KG will keep the passport for.

jammy you should totally resign lol take a little break before going to Canada....KG usually takes what? 2 to 3 weeks for pp pick up? do you have to give a week or two notice or can you just leave? my hubby said he would want to work a week or two after dropping off his passport just to keep himself busy so no harm in staying and making some more money

rosemel- thanks! i'm glad you enjoyed them! my poor hubby was the only man with all the ladies who are my cousins. He didn't seem to mind one bit though. The cousins took a million pics which is nice cause I'm not one for taking pics and usually hubby has to remind me to take them or he takes them for me. We certainly got a lot of nice pics of us together this time around. We're both happy about that.

Angella when you do you and your hubby cross the Canadian border threshhold?

I'm hearing most people's hubby's got a nice "Welcome to Canada Package" but mine didn't get one. He didn't have any issues either - thank the Lord. No fancy package.

November is off to a wonderful start and we're only on the 5th day. So many more blessings are in store!

so i booked hubby ticket for the 19.pending on the io"drop your pp and bring proof of the ticket and give her some time" so i gave her two weeks and a bit .so lets see.worst case just got to pay the change fee.
