Hi everyone,

Finally the PR Applicant Status has changed to "in process". Small step in the right direction, hopefully within the next coming weeks the other lines will be added. It's eCas so anything's possible. I am fairly new to this thread, if you don't mind me asking when was the last PPR in this thread (length of time)? Thanks and have a great weekend everyone.

Whats going on at kvo? I sent them an email on Tuesday and i am yet to received a response. Its been a month since anybody receive ppr. I believe they will make multiple calls very soon.I am keeping the faith and holding on tight. Sometimes you have to find other things to do to distract you rather than following up regularly on it. This will prevent you from becoming too depressed over it. That's what i did and its working for me because i was getting depressed waiting when i follow up on the forum everyday.

have you used that email and get back respond from them before?

Good night all, I was going over my gcms notes and noticed the officer handling my paper file now is SG01309 aka Sonjia Griffiths). Now I looked her up and this woman was "slow as molasses" during 2011-2013. For those forum members who posted their timelines and that she was the vo, they averaged about 2 years between application Rec'd at CPC-M and PPR. She was probably overly zen'd (she's a devout yoga master says LinkedIn) taking into consideration widespread delays during 2011-2013, most apps took about a year during that period. It's very curious to me, I'm wondering if any members have/ had this same vo handling their paper file as per their gcms notes. If so, don't panic-----yet--- kidding I just would like to know so I can see if our timelines end up being significantly longer than our counterparts. My theory is she is the one that scrutinizes applications... She looks like a serious perfectionist if you can tell that from a picture and a YouTube playlist LMBO. Google is dangerous. Well Jesus be with us all.

Please Lord, grant us all favour Your will is for families to be united. We need divine intervention!

Sorry I can't help you with your question, but wondering if you can let me know how you know which thing to look at to know which person is actually going through your application? There's quite a few people on mine so I'm just wondering how I know which one to look up and how did you do that if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to see a little bit more about those people if I can as well.

Hi Spartabarbiie,

I hope you've been well.

The subsection "paper file history" shows who is looking through the hard copy of your app. I guess they look over supporting docs to determine the genuineness of your relationship and possibly review the results of criminality and security checks. The last person in possession of the file (at the time of the notes request) would be in position 1 (the first note in that section). I looked her up by googling her ID number and it came up that others had posted about her in the forum. In one of the messages they had been given her name on correspondence so I googled her name. And it just so happened that her linked in said she was a Canada immigration officer in Jamaica
