I just got back from JA, had a great time with my husband and yes I had the pleasure of meeting Cece0225 and her hubby (they're full of vybz 8)!!!) definitely made some life long friends ;D

As always I hope we all hear some good news soon!

I emailed KVO this morning, asking for a meds extend, hope they grant one still ...

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if a can estimate the time it will take to get a passport request for a sponsorship application for a dependent (9months old). The sponsor was approved and the documents sent to Kingston in October 2015.

Secondly, should I submit a use of representative form giving me the right to access info on his part of the application? I am asking because he lives in the hills where they do not have door to door mail delivery. I did put his moms address on the flat as his mailing address as well as his email address but I'm just wondering what I should do. Any thoughts?

They'll send mail or email never call (at least not that i 've heard) why would you need to submit a use of representative form?? you have access to the info anyways, usually use of representative form you need to submit a license number, but call CIC just to clarify

I did call CIC which is what led me to think about the Use of Representative form. They stated that my part of the app is done and it has now been sent to Kingston which is his part of the application. Without that form, I cannot call and get any access about his portion of the application without that form giving me consent. I am just worried that if they do mail him, there's a chance he may not get it.

oh wow ok never knew that, i guess because i do everything online so i have a guideline of when everything is done and when something will be mailed out, but his mail will most likely be delivered to the post office, it's just a matter of him going there to check on a regular basis but since you're allowed to use the form do so so your mind is at rest

i just notice something it says your app was file nov 13 and you received notice of approval on jan 8 and file transfer on the 18, i applied about 1 week before you and never got a response until jan 20th hmmm not complaining just noticing the inconsistencies
