He did mention almost doubling the budget to fast track family class sponsorship so i believe its all across the board even though his emphasis is on parents and grandparents. We just have to hope most of if not all of his mandate comes to fruition. Some information can be found at liberal.ca

I agree! Nothing on the application could truly express the love between my husband and I, and our children.
You can write letters trying to explain it, but they dont truly understand. If anyone saw with their own eyes the dynamic my husband and I share, you would know instantly that we are a team. We work with each other, we know how each will respond, we maneuver our partnership in ways that make each other whole, because we fill each others hearts and souls. We are truly perfect for each other. We have taught each other so much and we could never be separated. We are enriched in blessing and in our love for each other and our family. I dont know how anyone could see that on the application. You have to see us in person for that. And if they did, they would know in a heartbeat that we are in this life together for the rest of our lives.

GUESS WHAT LADIES!!!!!

My husband and I received an email for his interview request!! It is on December 3rd. I could not be happier. We already knew he was going to get an interview because his CAIPS notes told us in September so I have been anxiously awaiting a date!

They've requested another police clearance. Part of me wants to email and ask about this as we did submit one with the application and part of me thinks I should just shut up and redo it. Any opinions?

Also we have to send his and his daughters passport, original birth certificates for him and both girls (one not coming with him), and original marriage certificate.

I am also intending to get a package of bills, phone records, another doctors letter regarding my pregnancy and ultrasound pictures together for him to take.

I would not bother with asking about the police clearance, just so as they asked and bring everything with you.

We were requested to bring more proof of communication
Below is what was requested:

Your valid passport and all previous passports held by you
 Updated Generic Application Form (IMM 008)
 Updated Schedule A Background / Declaration (IMM 5669)
o IMPORTANT: Questions 8 and 12 of your Schedule A MUST indicate all activities
and addresses SINCE AGE 18, i.e. FROM JANUARY 1988 TO PRESENT – DO
NOT provide only for the past ten years. DO NOT LEAVE ANY GAPS
BETWEEN DATES.
 Updated Additional Family Information Form (IMM 5406)
 Updated Police Clearance Certificate from your current country of residence.
 Your original FBI police certificate
 Proof of communication: telephone records, Facebook messages, Magic Jack call records, Skype
chat/call records, emails, etc – note that phone cards are not accepted.

We have everything covered: facetime photos, 150 pages from facebook chat going back to November 2014 plus about another 100 pics of us together, with my family, daughter, etc.
Next week on the 29th at 8am is the big day. excited and nervous all at the same time.

I am a week after you april. 14 i will be in ja next week maybe we will get a call we dont really email or facebook chat much we talk on phone three four times a day hope that counts i sent lots of digicel bills in plus i travel every three months there
