Wouldn't sending them upfront is be more beneficial though? Think about some of the people that get thru within 3-5 months sometimes. They had to have had their meds & pc handed upfront.
Waiting for them to request is likely to add 60 more days to the process... 2 more extra months ... ???

That's why I sent everything upfront, cause sometimes people are lucky and get thru fast.

Like Paula said if you send them a request, majority of the time they just extends them.

Oh i totally agree, you are right, i would never suggest waiting for them to request, i know that would end up taking an extra 2 months. But what im saying is that the 2-3 months it waits in mississauga is a waste of time. And some people did the police check and medicals 2 or 3 months before even sending in the application. So being too ahead of the game may not be beneficial either. It all depends on preference though I guess.

Hey guyz , has anyone ever received an email from Kingston saying they have accepted the application and will continue to process? My lawyer emailed me yesterday saying she got an email and that's basically what they said . She sent me a copy but was unsuccessful at downloading it.

True, but mississauga doesnt care if the medical or police checks are in the application, they only care about the SA. Kingston doesnt look at your file right away, so they dont even know if u have the medical or background check for months.

yes you are totally right they don't view the police check or medical in Mississauga, this was in the envelope I labeled 2 of 5 which was my husbands application for permanent residence.

another reason I chose to do it at the same time was so that I knew for sure the PC and medical would be in his file from the beginning .. Even though you send in them once Mississauga approves you it won't get put with your application as soon as it arrives there... They will receive them both at different times ...but again everyone has there own way of doing it but i just wanted people to know that they do often give you another year on the medical once you request it . And the PC is all unnecessary in my opinion given the fact they still conduct there own security and police checks ..

yes I have received a few from them .. 1 at first saying they received the application and it will be placed in a processing query to be reviewed by the next available VO.... Then another one that basically said the same thing again ... And the one we received last said that they have reviewed all necessary documents and do not need anything further from me and my file is once again placed in a processing query for a final decision and we would be notified if any action is required on our part ..that was also about a week before my ECas changed to in process and approx a month before PPR... If you read back through my posts you should see the last letter I received that I copy and posted on this forum

Did they just contact you on their own or did you email them first? Just asking as they have only emailed me if I emailed them first (except when I got SA and when they asked for birth certificates)

I just wanna go to JA.

His PC should be ready today or tomorrow. He's telling me he wants to bring it to Kingston directly.
Kingston never replied to my request to extend medical, it's expiring at the end of this month! They even deleted that whole paragraph out of my email.
I have a non-stop headache over this....I have 0 patience. Don't know what to do to keep my mind from wandering.
