Just got this email from my MP.

Hell.
I'm sorry to be so late in getting back to you-I couldn't find your file and phone number, but found it today.
CIC basically told me that the reasons you provided to expedite the sponsorship were not valid. They are still looking at 20 months from Oct. 2013, which would bring us to June 2015.
I know you mentioned going there for a visit again if you can't hang in that long-at least now you know what you are dealing with.

Goes to show you that some MPs are abolute morons and total bureaucrates!!! First off the timing is 27 months not 20 months (unless it secretly changed and they never posted us for us to see) and secondly he will be here way before then anyways!! What you need to do is when he gets his PP back WWWWAYYY before June 2015 is send the MP back their email with a copy of the PP Visa and title your email MORON or THANKS FOR NOTHING I AM VOTING FOR THE OTHER MP NEXT ELECTION!!

lol i am the one being filed for..... yes they asked for......1) a seperate and newly completed schedule a background declaration form (im5669) bearing original signature.2)passport/travel document 3) prepaid,self-addressed airway bill from dhl or fedex.this will be used to return ur passports and original documents to you when processing is complete.

Ok so I have been stalking DHL for 2 days now and nothing FFS!!!

When the passport was sent in nothing was updated till end of the day - stupid DHL

I just wanna book a ticket and get my hubby home to us.

Her hubby sent the passport on Sept. 30. If I remember good it was the day after the PPR. Not sure...I will ask her on Facebook.
