Hi Lexi , and you are most welcome. I do think that the spouses that have been here before have one less thing to wrap their heads around and it's true after going through immigration you just want calm and normal. Even if my husband and I are in different rooms watching different TV shows, at least we can run and hug during commercials . You cannot get that through SKYPE.lexi said:I guess I'm fortunate that my husband lived here before. So we don't get into the "showdowns" about that. However, this morning he was just saying how desperate he is to get back and have a normal marriage and work schedule again. Who ever thought that you would look forward to the ho-hum of ordinary life.
Can Trini, I laughed when I saw your post about you hubby resurrecting the frost bitten tomatoes and not trusting the dishwasher. My husband is the same and does the same thing too, except he washes them before we go to bed regardless of how tired we are. Lol
Thanks for your positivity and support
I know our men have their quirks and they know we have ours but it is funny to compare notes sometimes isn't it? Both my husband and I do impressions of each other and one of his favorite ones to do of me is to say - in an abnormally high pitched drawn out voice (which I do not have btw) - "we don't say dat in Canada or we don't do dat in Canada or we don't behave like dat in Canada!!! It makes me laugh every time........cause it's true. But I can also do a pretty good impression of him, so then we do impersonation showdowns!! ;D
Blessings.
