We are good and we are both missing him a lot!!!

They bonded so much and it was different this time around because she is older. She couldn't get enough of her daddy. Broke my heart that we had to leave

Hello JAMFAM!!! Hope everyone is doing well! While I was in JA last month someone I meet said he got his PP back as well and his wife is not on the forum. Also heard of someone else that landed and his application took 12 months to process...also not part of the forum.

Hello JamFam,

My advice to everyone ... Is if you can go visit your other half in JA, go 8)... It definitely makes this process easier, Kingston is unpredictable... So unless you know that your towards the 'end' of this process. ( KGN has contacted you re: Updated PC, Medical, PPR, etc) it is difficult to tell where you are in this process, and believe me I know that it costs a lot to travel back and forth, but it is soooo worth it ( and soon you won't have to)

A little birdy pinch me and say the reason why they hold some applications so long is because they wAnt to see if the relationship will last... smh.... are they that serious....

Well I'm almost at my 12 months mark :'( Unfortunately.. and ive seen people here longer... i just stop stressing...

Good Afternoon!!!!

More arguments after we filed....and it was closer to the year mark for us. It's the stress and all the frustration of not know what is next, when the call when come and how much longer we have to wait.

The arguments end fast now. My hubby says " I am not waiting any longer, cancel the papers and move here" I call his bluff now and say ok I will call in the morning and cancel. He then quickly changes his mind.

I think we all go through it...it's hard being away from your spouse and also being away for long periods of time.

Just remember....when all this is over it will all be worth it!!

Sammy... that sounds like my husband and i always threathening to cancel then the next minuite we are best friends again

There has to be an end to the wait it wont last forever we just have to be strong and try to be patient and in the mean time so as CanJam suggest and visit as often as we can

and most of all keep the bond in the forum... we know best how each othere are feeling siince we are all on the same slow kingston immigration boat, knowing that one day this boat will sail our spouse home to Canada.

Omg we argue for everything lol. And I say the same thing... I'm going to cancel the sponsorship then he will say is because of frustration... yes I'm frustrated because I don't think those officers know how expensive it is to travel back and forth... its not like hubby can travel here... so its me doing all the travelling .... it sucks ass... but i have to just suck it up and travel....

yes girl go and enjoy ur time with hubby ... book a nite at a cheap hotel and just enjoy each other.... I tell him once he is here i am never going back to Jamaica unless a family member close to me dies or something extremely important is happening. I need to explore the rest of the world now.
