So guess the interview went better than you had imagined it did. Did they even indicate why you needed to be interviewed to begin with? Very happy that your journey is almost over!

They need their TRN Card to get the "resident rates" and they are not always available. Depends on the season and the rooms availabilty at the hotel. They would need to contact the hotel directly to get the rates.

Okay, thats good to know. And would this apply to both of us if he books it? Or would I have to show my TRN as well?

He is going to call a couple of hotels over the next couple of days to find out.

He would need to tell them that 2 people are in the room to get the correct rate and you don't need the TRN card

That is like me booking travel agent rates at the hotel for myself and hubby. I book the room at the agent rate and he gets to stay there. I just let them know how many people are in the room

BIG TIME HELP!!! I have my TRN, but I just wanted to see if I would need it. I like it better this way : ;D

We knew why we needed an interview (Some badmind ppl had interfered with our file...), and it didnt really go well, but I was persistant and kept sending in info! Pics and phone logs to show to continuation of the relationship and such. I made my husband re-do is medicals back in Nov since we had not heard anything and we had past the deadline to have the medicals extended, which was a good decision (I had ordered our notes in Jan and when I got them back the status was expired). So I had emailed my MP to inquire about the medicals only, just to confirm they were rec'd, and about a month after we got a response that the medicals were rec'd and the file would be completed "shortly".. that was just over a month ago.

I wish they would have called my hubby to request stuff, at least it shows that they are working on your file lol!

I would love my hubby to receive a call while I'm there, but I also try not to expect too much, it gets me desappointed afterward... They have to do something at one point, I'll try to keep the faith and be patient until then (being patient isn't an easy task for me )

I totally understand not wanting to get disappointed. Even though they've been requesting things and it seems like there's movement on our application, we know we still don't have it in the bag quite yet... (And I'm pretty sure Kingston has a few more curve balls up their sleeves for us lol)
